SUNDAY, APRIL 14 2013 - 1PM
High Park - Toronto, Ontario, Canada
ZERO-G FORMAT

THE REVOLUTION BEGINS! Toronto Bladers, this is your chance to earn paid travel expenses (if necessary) to ANIME NORTH, along with an AN Pass to play in the WBO North American Championship, BEYBLADE REVOLUTION!!

Location:
We'll be playing in the shelter where we usually play. If you're coming to High Park via the Bloor entrance, just follow that road down on the right side and you'll see the large building/shelter on the left hand side before you reach the tennis courts. If you have any questions about the location, please post here! This map has the area we'll be playing in roughly outlined:

Mandatory $5 Entry Fee = More Qualifiers + Extra Credits + Free Face Booster!
To help subsidize the high cost of flying/busing the qualifiers to Toronto, a mandatory $5 entry fee will be imposed on this WBO North American Championship Qualifier Series tournament, regardless of whether or not participants have a Blader Passport (if you do not have one, you are welcome to purchase one in the place of the $5 fee, though), and there will be no prize reimbursement apart from the travel expenses for the winner. We hope that everyone can understand this! The more funds we have, the bigger this championship will be! However, to show our appreciation for your cooperation and support in helping to fund the championship, all participants in Qualifier Series tournaments will receive the following:

What can I win?
The winner of this qualifier will receive the following:
  • Paid travel expenses, by plane/bus/public transit (if necessary, and whichever is cheapest) to ANIME NORTH 2013 in Toronto, Ontario, Canada for BEYBLADE REVOLUTION.
  • An ANIME NORTH 2013 Pass
Qualifiers will be responsible for finding/paying for accommodations in Toronto (again, if necessary), but the WBO Committee will work closely with the winner to make sure that they find somewhere suitable. Additionally, the winner will be required to consult with the Committee before booking their flight/bus, and then after approval, provide a booking confirmation to the WBO Committee before they can provide reimbursement for the traveling costs. If you are local to Toronto and plan on taking public transit to the venue for BEYBLADE REVOLUTION, then you will simply have to present transfers to us when you arrive.

If you think you'll be able to make it out to BEYBLADE REVOLUTION: The Beginning, please post here and I will start building an attendance list!

If there is specific parts from those Boosters you are looking for, there's a good chance I'd be able to hook you up with them (besides stuff like the RF's and CS's from RBV6 ... I need to keep those for myself haha).

Sure! How many do you want?

Well pretty much this is all I need from them:
EWD
FB
TH170
Beat
RSF
RS
RB

I was also just looking for any NIP 4D Bey, it could be any 4D Bey!

And I think 20-30 cards would be good! Thanks Kei!
I can give you TH170

I have a NIP Beat, so I'll bring that and we can figure something out if you're interested.

Hmm ... that's a bit too many to give to one person based on how many I have left haha. I can maybe give you 10-15.
I can't wait until the tournament! It's been a while since I've been to a tournament. Can't wait to see you all.
So, who won, and with what combos?
RIGHT-SPINN!!!

... Sorry. Anyways, here are the results!:

1st: Pockyx3 - He was excited that he won, to say the least (see above) hahaha. He's now tied with JesseObre with two first place finishes out of our four ZERO-G tournaments!

2nd: pyrus10000 - He's slowly working his way up the finals ladder ... I'm certain that he'll win one soon!

3rd: JesseObre - The streak continues! Jesse has now placed in nine consecutive tournaments.

4th: HeavenKerbecs - Great effort. I'm sure he'll only get better with experience.

(And no, I did not play)

Thank you to everyone who came out today, especially the new players: rubbercreeper29, darkknight9420, Daniel and his brother, and Monoco. Smile I hope you guys will be able to make it to our next tournament! Pockyx3 should be hosting it on Saturday, May 4th. Stay tuned to the Toronto WBO General thread for a post by him.

And as for your Face Boosters and Revolution Faces, they will be awarded sometime this week. Thanks for your patience!

I'll try to get that information posted sometime soon.
Congrats to all I look forward to seeing what combos were used. Smile
