After missing the last few month's tournaments due to weather and venue issues, we're back! In the past, Toronto's spring tournaments have been proven to attract many bladers, so be ready to battle! I will be hosting the Standard format tournament (Beys of Glory 2) whilst Pockyx3 will hold the Limited format tournament (The Month of Rebirth)! Assuming we have enough attendees, this will be an official WBO tournament, so make sure to get your Blader Passport for $10 if you haven't done so already! Or, simply pay $5 if you plan on only attending The Month of Rebirth. However, if you wish to join both tournaments without purchasing the passport for some reason, it will cost $10.
Location:
We'll be playing in the shelter where we usually play. If you're coming to High Park via the Bloor entrance, just follow that road down on the right side and you'll see the large building/shelter on the left hand side before you reach the tennis courts. In case you guys haven't been to our regular tournaments, here are some visual directions.

Need-to-Know Information

Open your account page on your mobile device (if possible) during registration to help us keep things quick.
2. Arrive On Time
You must arrive by the tournament start time to enter. We cannot add new players to an event once it begins. If you're running late, contact the host.
3. Stay Aware of Your Belongings
We do everything possible to ensure a safe environment, but can't be held responsible for lost or stolen goods. Keep your gear close by!
4. The Tournament Will Last At Least a Few Hours
This event is likely to last at least a few hours. If you can't commit to the entire tournament, you're welcome to come watch and play for fun instead!
5. Listen For Your Username To Be Called
Your name will be called when it's time for your next battle. If you need to leave early or take a break, tell a judge. Missing a match could mean disqualification!
6. Players Must Meet Regional Product Age Restrictions
All players in this event must meet the age restrictions on Beyblade products in their region. TAKARA-TOMY recommends Beyblade for ages 6+. Hasbro recommends Beyblade for ages 8+. Players under these ages may only participate with the permission of their parent/guardian.
7. Players Under 18 Must Be Accompanied by a Parent/Guardian
If you are under 18 years old, a parent/guardian must accompany you and be present for the duration of the event.
8. Contests, Raffles, Gambling, Betting, and Selling Are Prohibited
Advertising the sale of any product or service, as well as posting about any contest, raffle, gambling, or betting on this event page and conducting them at the event without approval by Fighting Spirits Inc. staff is prohibited. Please contact the Organized Play team if you require approval.
9. Terms of Service
All event attendees and users of this website are subject to our Terms of Service.

But we're certain we'll have enough for tomorrow if even a few of you guys who cancelled could make it. If the kid from Kijiji hadn't of left earlier we could have had enough for today by getting his mother to play.

You guys just posted this morning that you wouldn't be able to make it, so as far as we know you were still possible for this weekend until this morning. Hopefully the "late notice" for this isn't a huge deal because of that.

I'll try to convince my dad, but I'd want to see a bigger attendee list before hand. I don't want him to drive me, then realize we didn't get eight attendees. I'd be perfect with next week. It would also be a safer idea as well.

2nd: Pockyx3 - Libra R145RSF / Libra AD145WD / Pegasis H145RF
3rd: The Sponge - Libra GB145D / Libra GB145RSF / Pegasis 130RF
Obviously, take these results with a grain of salt because a) this was unofficial as there was only six Bladers and b) we weren't being completely serious throughout the tournament. But there was a lotttt of Libra ...
I didn't particularly like Omega on 90 because it starts scraping too early if you don't KO your opponent, and even if they are an Attack type, you'll probably lose because of that (and I did on a few occasions). Maybe 100 would be better.
Anyways, just to remind everyone once again: we are going to reschedule this until tomorrow at 2PM at High Park (same location). We'll be doing just Limited Format. However, first we want to have at least eight confirmed people tonight so that we don't waste our time going over to the park again. Post if you can make it!
