Standard and Limited format

After missing the last few month's tournaments due to weather and venue issues, we're back! In the past, Toronto's spring tournaments have been proven to attract many bladers, so be ready to battle! I will be hosting the Standard format tournament (Beys of Glory 2) whilst Pockyx3 will hold the Limited format tournament (The Month of Rebirth)! Assuming we have enough attendees, this will be an official WBO tournament, so make sure to get your Blader Passport for $10 if you haven't done so already! Or, simply pay $5 if you plan on only attending The Month of Rebirth. However, if you wish to join both tournaments without purchasing the passport for some reason, it will cost $10.

Location:
We'll be playing in the shelter where we usually play. If you're coming to High Park via the Bloor entrance, just follow that road down on the right side and you'll see the large building/shelter on the left hand side before you reach the tennis courts. In case you guys haven't been to our regular tournaments, here are some visual directions.


Format: We will be using both Standard format and Limited format for this tournament.

Time: The Limited tournament (Beys of Glory 2) will start at approximately 12 PM, while the Standard tournament (A Year: The Month of Rebirth) will start at approximately 2-3 PM.


Side Note: Guys, please, please look after your stuff. While yes this is a Beyblade tournament and I'm not suggesting that any of us would attempt to take each other's stuff it is still happening at a public venue where other people (who may not be so friendly) are going to be present as well. Of course, if you see a personal belonging lying around bring it up to me or one of the other judges so we can return it to the right person. Your co-operation is appreciated!

This mini tournament was a lot better than I expected it to be, it was great!
Well, hopefully the postponed tournament will have more than 8 confirmed people and the weather gets warmer!

Alright so it's official now, we are moving this tournament for next Sunday! We will most likely have a better turnout so yeah confirm in this thread if you can make it or not!

Sorry to double post, but there are two things I'd like to confirm.

From my experience, tournaments don't regularly start on time. I actually need to be somewhere at 10:30, which ends at 11:00. If I am the slightest bit late, would it possible to save my matches till I arrive? I doubt I'd be late, though.

Did anybody get in touch with either Pyro or Suntailhawk? I definitely can't get either of my friends to come.

Heh, actually, I was implying that E230 was banned in limited, therefore I wouldn't be able to use Cyber Unicorno in the tournament. Anyways, I completely forgot about the standard format tournament, so I might as well use it in that. Also, I may have some work to do on Sunday, so I'll see if I can stay for the entirety of the tournament.

Did anyone plan to show up before 12:00? I'll probably be there a little earlier, since I'll be closer to the park from where I'll be in the morning.

I also don't think we have a large amount of attendees, so both events won't last too long. But yes, getting his battles done first would definitely be a safer idea, even if he doesn't plan on attending the two.

Yup, today is the day! The weather is amazing and it just seems like a good day for blading!

I really hope that a bunch of you show up today!

Also, Kei, did you contact David yet? I just want to make sure he knows that there is a tournament today aha.
