High Park (map) - Toronto, Ontario, Canada
STANDARD (MFB/BMF) FORMAT

In what seems to have become a yearly tradition, we are going to once again be back at High Park this July for HIGH PARK THROWDOWN 3!

Assuming we have enough attendees, this will be an official WBO tournament, so make sure to get your Blader Passport if you haven't done so already! Or, simply pay $5 if you plan on only attending HPT3. Aside from competing for Faces, BeyPoints, and Credits, the prizes will of course be good!

If you're interested, please let us know here so we can start building an attendance list. Hope to see you there!

Location:
Assuming the weather is nice enough, we'll be playing outside in the area marked on the map. If it ends up raining, we will move to the shelter that is a short distance away.
On the day of the tournament, if anyone is unsure of where to go, please wait at the Bloor entrance of High Park (as shown on the map here). At around 1pm, I'll walk back to the entrance to verify that we've got everyone.

You're a Committee member. Your Passport never expires. Cool

Im heading out in 40 minutes! Can't wait to see ya guys again!
I'm sorry for not being able to attend, I was seriously planning on coming. I had everything packed and ready to go, when my parents told me we had to go to my cousin's house. Lips_sealed

I'm quite mad right now. :l
awsome Grin cant wait for plastics tourny tommorow Grin
i left early who won and what are the the prizes ?
Tournament Results:

1) Kei
2) FlameDragon25
3) Ali12345456

If anyone cares about me, I did really poorly. In fact, I came to this tournament fully expecting it to be the last (MFB) tournament I attend for a while. I'm still not sure if I'll stick with Beyblade, but for the first time in what feels like months, if not years, I had fun playing this game. Actual, legitimate fun with no anxiety over parts choices, or soured faces over poor launches. Just the fun I had when I was 9 or 12 playing this game with my friends. Thanks for that.
Danggg. Kei shouldnt even be participating! Any tournament with Kei is a suicide mission.... grats.
what are the prizes for this tourny i left early
Ok Kei. This better not be your last tournament you participate in. I am already in the process of saving up to face you. That is my only reason to come to Canada besides facing Dan. Congratulations.

Kei's never going to quit. It's in his blood, hahahahaha.

Freakin' went undefeated. I should have beaten him though. Bad bounce, sigh.
LOL don't talk to me about 'should have beat him', if only I used MF Lightning LDrago BD145RF.
I did so poorly it isn't even funny; I am never using MF-H Basalt Kerbecs DF105WD again.
Franky: your snot green defeat over me will not go unavenged, haha.
Bluezee: When?
so what where the prizes, sorry if im spaming

If you used it, you would have won the whole thing...I don't care what anyone says. Also, very soon..very soon lol.

Ahaha, it likely won't be my last ... but I'll probably take a break for the next two MFB tournaments at least.

Pretty much LOL.

Let it be known: Sagittario can KO Basalt.

capricorn7 Wrote:so what where the prizes, sorry if im spaming

1st: Gravity Perseus Utimate Reshuffle Set, L Drago Destroy, Scythe Kronos
2nd: Big Bang Pegasis, Scythe Kronos, Torch Aries
3rd: Some random Hasbro Double Pack, Random Booster Vol. 7 Beat Lynx

I gave my prizes away to FlameDragon25, so ali got the second place prizes, and majinshadow11 got the third place prizes.

I also gave away a NIB Scythe Kronos to the winner of a mini (unofficial) single elimination tournament after the tournament was over. majinshadow11 won that.

Thanks so much for coming everyone! The turnout was great, and everything seemed to go relatively smoothly (aside from the six or seven people who came a bit too late haha). Smile
(Jul. 17, 2011  2:04 AM)capricorn7 Wrote: wut where the prizes fro spaming

Prizes for first place were the following: LDrago Destroy, Scythe Cronos, Gravity Perseus Reshuffle set.
Second was: Big Bang Pegasus, Scythe Cronos, and I think it was a hasbro starter.
Third got: Random booster, and hasbro starter I think.

Since Kei didn't want the prizes the slots ended up going up so second (me Grin) got first place prize, third got second place prizes, etc.

It really should not, but it makes me happy to see that both 桃太郎, you and me perform so badly in tournaments, hah. Although I cannot compare with yours since I have not seen the results yet.
i had fun but i came late because i could not find the place but it was fun =)

But only if you use waterfall.
I still haven't mastered it yet, though. That's why I messed up at the end.
Pretty cool this has become somewhat of a tradition. Sounds like it was good. I have been sick.
Guess I'll see some of you later.

Forgot to respond to this earlier.

I care about the .500 record you're trying to maintain! Haha. I'm really glad to hear how good of a time you had ... totally better than trying to get Medabots games localized, right? Tongue_out

Yeah! It was a perfect day for a tournament.
See you soon! Hope you're feeling better tomorrow; you'll need to have some energy for our inevitable BND! rematch!

Wow, that was quick! Skip to 1:40 for something unbelievable.
This was such a great tournament.

I had so much fun, I did better than I thought I would, and I can never see myself being upset at losing.

This was just a fun tournament. Smile
I got to see a beyblading prodigy (It was his first tournament, and he dominated for quite some time. Rock on lil' blader!)
And I got to battle a great variety of bladers. I just got to be engrossed in the community.

I am looking forward to the plastic & hms tournaments so much. just for concentrated nostalgia. Grin
