So, the event today was sort of a bust as only four people actually showed up. Regardless, Maz still thinks Faces should be given out for first, second and third place (although he says he'd be OK with just first place ... he got first place, so I guess I can understand why).

I'm not trying to screw anyone over here, but it frankly seems unfair to people who put in the effort to win tournaments to hand out award Faces so easily. That's why effective immediately, for tournament faces to be awarded the event must have at least nine participants. This is to prevent a few people from getting together and pretty much getting Faces for just having regular battles.

Soon there will be a WBO Tournament Kit released that will more comprehensively cover tournaments. Until then, I'm posting this here. It's a matter of WBO policy, so everyone should be involved in the discussion.

Also, Faces awarded for tournaments that took place before the BeyPoint System was implemented have been revoked in light of this "Face-balancing" decision.

Guys, chill out. I like Brad's rule. We do have tournaments fairly often.

Besides, they're just faces. Point is Pinoy and Maz really blew bladers away the other day and nobody can take that away from you. Faces will mean more to you when you must fight harder to get them anyway.

We should have a different name for tournaments that can't be official WBO tournaments!

Haha sounds like a shuffle tournament Tongue_out, i like it
I completely agree with this rule but how does a tourny work with nine people? Isn't it normally eight that works out to make it right or am I missing something?
Right now we are trying to get 9 or more for a Northern Indiana Tourny. We have no time or date yet, but fighter prospects include drunkin_ninja, Xenoka, yooperman_dan, Pichuscute, Garfunkel22, Pepe le Penguin, and another guy from Fort Wayne and Pichuscute's brother I think.

I'm hoping that is a strong enough following that we can luer others from nearby. 9 seems very reachable
Kai 12 as well, but he may not be able to make it. I'm guessing those guys are your friends then?

Yessir! I'm trying to track down other people who all beybladed at recess with my in 5th grade. We had our own teams and everything ^-^
I'm hoping that once we get enough people we can have a tourny with more than 9 people.

hey brad do u know if there going to sell MFB there because i don't hav any and the tournament is with MFB right

You have eyes; you would be kind to use them to see that there is a specific topic for that tournament, and that the time is written in the first post :

I am stating a fact. Take it as you want.
Lol Kai-V don't be a bully! And lego, if you could make it please do, we are running a bit low on people.
She isn't being a bully. She is expecting the bare minimum effort of someone.
Brad has a point. It isn't hard to actually look once in a while.
