Legend has it that the British celebrate a age-old tradition called "The Sesh".
After this tradition, memories vanish and regret overwhelms the participants.
Despite this, they still continue to partake in it...
Totally worth it though <3

After a month of no tournaments, we're back in Regent's Park for "The Sesh", which will be followed by a sesh!
Seshtastic!

SESH. SESH. SESH.
SESH. SESH.
SESH.
Did I say Sesh enough yet?
Sesh.

Time:
The tournament itself will start at 12:00pm, so as a guide, aim to arrive for 11:30am. The Tube and public transport services are not very reliable, so plan your journey well in advance.

Location:
Regent's Park. We shall be at the Bandstand as always. Please check this thread on the day for updates or like us on Facebook for any quick location updates.

Directions:
Here is a map of Regent's Park. Click on the tab labelled "Monuments, Fountains and Statues". Head to the area marked Bandstand. We suggest taking the London Underground or Bus to Baker Street.

Prizes:
What are prizes? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Hosts and Judges:
This tournament is being hosted by ~Mana~. If you have any queries about the event, feel free to PM me or post in the thread and I'll be happy to help!

Important Advice:
Despite being around friends and rivals, please remember we are in a public park. Bad behaviour and swearing will not be tolerated and will result in a ban from future events. Please keep your personal belongings with you or in a safe place while at the bandstand. If you see any personal items left around with no apparent owner, please hand it in to a judge, so we can return it to its rightful owner. Your cooperation is much appreciated.

Remember to turn up on time. If you arrive later than 12:10pm, your place will be forfeit and you will not be able to participate. If you know you'll be late, please let us know via PM or a post in-thread!

Spread the Word!
Are you as excited about the festivities as we are?! If so, be sure to tell your friends about it! And if you haven't already, follow us on Twitter and like us on Facebook!

Damn, unfortunately can't make it to this one but will defo show up for the next one. Good luck to all the participants.

Edit: quick question, why "the sesh"? It's just that's what my mates call their vaping sessions (I don't vape) haha.

I don't vape either haha,
sesh seems really naughty haha, aye back in my days (2009) it meant "when 2 people love each other very much" aka birds and bees pretty sure some people still use it as that too lol. but anyhoo would be cool to come and bring my son he'd love it, has there been much children at previous events or is it mostly just adults?

I think it's cool to bring people with ya. The ages aren't restricted it's young and old. I brought my younger brother last time and we both turned up as observers but it was fun.
Somehow, I really don't think we saw the confusion on "The Sesh" being a thing, haha. It's just a joke about drinking really, but if it's giving the wrong impression, it's certainly something we may change sooner rather than later...

Of course! Tournaments are open to all ages, so your son is obviously welcome (as are you if you wanted to participate as well!). We have Dads that regularly play, and some participants also bring their kids or younger siblings as well!
u WONT SEE ME NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

It's the 8th of July I think so 08/07/17 by our country's format
July 8th, yeah.

Sure, you can bring your homemade one if you like. Obviously it won't be used for tournament matches as it's illegal, but you're free to bring it for free play. Hoping to have an extra stadium for free play as well anyway.
Finally going to another tournament, it's been a while Grin
Time change! Moving the event time to 1pm to allow for some participants to attend. Need those participant numbers after all, haha.
Oh boy, really didn't want to end up doing this...

DATE CHANGE
Sorry guys, but participants have been dropping like flies today (Went from a secure number to barely scraping Club Format in a few hours...). I get there might be some negative reception from some people for this change but, to ensure that we have a secure number of participants, this date change is for the best. We're currently looking at the 22nd for the best chance at numbers, but even that's subject to change honestly. July is not looking like a good month for events...

Sorry guys! Hopefully we'll have more luck soon. I've blanked the participant list now so, if you're available for the 22nd, please do register again.

You don't need to play in order to attend so that's fine.
