Similar to most of Mumbai's events, 'The Calm Before The Storm' was held at Sanjay Gandhi National Park in Borivali. It was hosted by ashton pinto.

==Tournament==
The tournament for the MFB standard format began at 12:30 pm and concluded at around 3:30 pm. The planning of this event began when a prominent blader named soumadri said that he would be able to attend one of Mumbai’s tournament. His fame increased when he dominated the Kolkata event and most of the Mumbai bladers were eagerly waiting to battle him.
It was originally suggested that HMS and STD were to be the tournament format for the day, but later it was decided to stick with STD & LTD as most of the players in the area did not own HMS beyblade’s. The atmosphere was dynamic and lively. FIREFIRE CPB had bought many of his stadiums including the Burst and the Zero G stadium which was used for free-play.
The event commenced in the BB-10 stadium, BBC-03 was also used for a few battles. It was played in the Round Robin Format where the top three Bladers with the highest scores advance to the finals.
Killerkein Dragooon B : D and Duo B : D were the notable combinations of the day used by most of the bladers. It is noteworthy to mention that this tournament was well-balanced with a diverse variety of Beyblade customizations; Attack, Defense and Endurance.
Soumadri’s customizations were Killerkein Dragooon BD145RDF and Duo _ B : D. Duo _ B : D was also used by jksiddh and DisasterDriger. FIREFIRE went for a new strategy. He used Bahamadia Dragoon BD145GF & Genbul Genbul SA165WD in most of his battles. ashton pinto is a lover of Attack type combinations. He used his customary combo Zirago Zirago 90 MF. Death Aquario BD145 CS and other synchromes were used by christophermk and yashpinto. Pegasus x 2 105 RF, Zirago Zirago 90 RF, Flash _ RF, Killerkein Dragooon BD145RDF and Dragooon x 2 _ WD were few of the beyblade combo’s used by Alex Mercer, nik1392 and AaryanBITW.
christophermk, soumadri and yashpinto scored 7-3 in the preliminary rounds thereby advancing to the finals. FIREFIRE CPB scored 6-4. Nik1392, jksiddh, Alex Mercer and Disaster Driger scored 4-6. All the battles were entertaining and interesting especially that of nik1392.

The atmosphere now was composed. Many bladers expected nik1392 and ashton pinto to qualify which didn’t happen. The battles were all close that would probably end in a tie. The finals began. Everyone was anxious to know who would place in the event.
soumadri brilliantly defeated yashpinto and christophermk with a heavy spin-stealer combo; MSF-H Killerkein Dragooon BD145RDF. Although yashpinto and christophermk were highly skilled in aggressive attack type combinations and with more than ten years of blading experience, both players found it difficult to knock out his custom. yashpinto and christophermk both used Zirago Zirago 90 MF. This was a huge victory for soumadri. christophermk (Zirago Zirago 90 MF) lost against yashpinto (MF-H Death Aquario BD145 CS) in the finals. The CS performance tip was Takara, giving him more advantage even against a synchrome set-up.
