[Takara Tomy]  Spriggan Requiem Testing And Discussion [Limited Format]

A testing and discussion thread for Spriggan Requiem in Limited format.
Now, I know what you all are probably thinking: "Spriggan Requiem is banned in limited, why would you open a testing thread for it?"
After a few tests, it seems that Spriggan Requiem wouldn't be too OP in Limited.
More tests coming soon.
Spriggan Requiem (Left Spin) 0Cross Orbit Metal (Odd) Vs Bloody Longinus Generate (Sliding Shoot and Even). I did ten rounds.

Results:

Spriggan Requiem: 50% (4 KO’s (Self KO’s and 1 KO) 1 OS)

Bloody Longinus: 50% (4 Burst’s 1 KO’s)
Spriggan Requiem 5W Br (Left, Weak) VS (MGC, Upper) Twin Nemesis 0E Ds'
Twin Nemesis: 90% (5 OS, 2 KOs, 2 BF)
Spriggan Requiem: 10% (1 BF)

If you wanna unban Spriggan Requiem, unban Winning Valkyrie.

Do our tests not show that Spriggan Requiem is not OP? This thing is probably very good for Limited yes, but definitely counterable to the point where it could be unbanned. We gotta do more testing though, but so far it’s not looking to be too OP.

No, we couldn’t really do that. Winning Valkyrie is far too good of an attack type to warrant an unban
Spriggan Requiem 0 Revolve (Odd) Vs Arc Bahamut 0 Revolve (Even). I did ten rounds.

Results:

Spriggan Requiem: 20%  (2 OS’)

Arc Bahamut: 80% (8 OS’)

I did a unofficial test round switching the Revolve drivers. Arc Bahamut still won.
Try it on a Bearing combo against a few right spin combos.

Twin Nemesis: 90% (5 OS, 2 KOs, 2 BF)
Spriggan Requiem: 10% (1 BF)

These results were somewhat surprising in terms of the OS.  I tried it out.  While I can see tN draw Sr occasionally, I did not see it win personally.

When I did that test, tN would hit Sr incredibly hard, and Sr would lose most of its spin. tN would then stall on the tornado ridge and win by OS.

I see.  But wouldn’t a hard hit speed up Sr a bit as well?  How well does your Ds’ tornado stall?  It would have to stall for quite a while I think.

It hasn't been used much, so it's pretty good at stalling. Sr wouldn't have much spin left from the soft launch, and it typically didn't gain much spin from the initial hit, so it was fairly easy to OS.

So then why soft launch it? I mean, surely in a real-life match, the person would be smart enough to realize it wasn’t working, and launch a bit harder.

I dunno, a lot of these tests seem a bit wack.
Test done by #Fafnir (He’s having internet issues right now):
Spriggan Requiem (Left Spin) 7 Revolve Vs. Guardian Kerbeus (MGC) 7 Revolve. Ten rounds were done.

Results:

Spriggan Requiem: 30% (3 OS’)

Guardian Kerbeus: 70% (7 OS’)
I also tested aH4.0B.Octa vs (left)Sr.0E.Ds’.
I can’t really get aH4 to win.  It can draw, maybe.  I used a brand new Octa and tried to tornado stall, and I am unable to do it.

dF.Outer.Ds'/Ds vs Sr.Outer.Ds/Ds' (Right Spin)
(I swapped drivers after 5 non-tie rounds) (Both beys were soft launched)
Drain Fafnir: 3 wins (3 OS)
Spriggan Requiem: 7 wins (7 OS)
Ties: 2
Notes: Drain was the only layer to show signs of unlocking, which is when it had the normal Destroy driver.

yeah I have no idea where Requiem loses in LAD is coming from.

Sorry for the late response.
My Hasbro Octa is pretty worn, so the LAD is a bit better than a new one.
The Out-Spins in that test were close though.
Here are a few other tests:

I tried launching it a little harder, that's where the two bursts came from. I'd rather lose by OS than by BF for obvious reasons.
I'm not the only one getting these results, BuilderROB is as well.

Uh, no I’m not. I don’t have aH4 or a Hasbro Octa.
