Well i think geist fafnir is quite underrated because of it's stock combo,that has the absorb driver,the absorb driver is just booty and because of that people think geist fafnir is a terrible layer while it is just the absorb driver holding it back,how about trying absorb on hS even it will perform bad,that doesn't mean that hS is bad right?same goes for gF,people won't really test it because it has got the stamp of "AVERAGE " slapped on it's face 
That's why i think gF is a really good balance layer since it has attack and stamina
gF.7.G.xt+ and gF.10.et are really good combos
Their only weaknesses being bearing(opp.spin) and xt+ respectively

Edit:also same spin atomic gives it a really tough time

that's where destroy dash comes in to play,use that and the burst problem is solved plus try soft launching it,then you don't have to worry about self recoil

I agree with the choice of Destroy'. I really want to see how Geist Fafnir 7Cross Destroy' does. Maybe switch out the frame for an attack frame, since Destroy has plenty of LAD.

I feel like Geist Fafnir with Destroy’ would only be good against opposite spin though, I think Xtreme’ would be better for same spin match ups.

Yeah, even if the gimmick is mostly inconsequential, it can damper attack potential. But, you don't want to rule it out before it's tested

Ok so i did some tests with gF on ds'(15 rounds per battle)
(against left spin)
gF.7.B.ds' vs hS.0.B.br

gF:10 wins(7 burst,2 over,1 os)
hS:5 wins(5 os)

It's a good counter to hS on br

gF.7.B.ds' vs bL.7.U.ds

gF:9 wins(3 burst,3 over,3 os)
bL:6 wins(4 over,2 os)

kind of expected this outcome

gF.7.B.ds' vs hS.7.B.at

gF:5 wins(1 burst,3 over,1 os)
hS:10 wins(2 over,8 os)

Well gF got demolished(it did manage to get a burst though)
