I feel like this video confirms my worst fears about this gimmick. There's no way this battle should have ended this way. I am trying to be optimistic at this point, because I really want to play, but this just doesn't seem like an improvement.

Of course, if you compare with HMS' ability to have last-second knockouts, a lot in Beyblade is underwhelming before and since, but that Beyblade had used the opportunities it had to knock the opponent out already and failed, so whether by outspin or by self-burst, it looks to me like it would have lost the battle anyway.

I agree with Brad, from what I could see it looks as if Spriggan would have been outspun had it not been for Kerbeus Bursting. Though Kerbeus failed to KO Spriggan it probably still would have gotten the OS given that the second-to-last hit knocked Spriggan off balance and the last hit made it scrape.

If buying tops increases points there may be a difference between points and ranking, and seeing how these tentative images are showing different stats that isn't a far off theory. Remember that points are used to redeem for limited edition tops, so buying more beyblades to get points is a good incentive on that end.

The more I look at them, the less aesthetically appealing they are to me, particularly because of the tacky hard shell covering the wheel. Being a Metal Fight blader specifically, the fact that they consist of only three parts does, as others have said, strike me as a downgrade from the previous series, simply because, typically, the less customization variables something has, the less complex it will be. What concerns me most are the springs on the inside of the "layer." If they're fragile in the slightest, that could ruin it for me.
