Time:
The tournament itself will start at 12:00pm, so as a guide, aim to arrive for 11:30am. The Tube and public transport services are not very reliable, so plan your journey well in advance.

Location:
Regent's Park. We shall be at the Bandstand as always, but in case of congestion, we may relocate to the smaller shelter on the way to the Ready Money Drinking Fountain. Please check this thread on the day for updates or like us on Facebook for any quick location updates.

Directions:
Here is a map of Regent's Park. Click on the tab labelled "Monuments, Fountains and Statues". Head to the area marked Bandstand or in some cases, head to the Ready Money Drinking Fountain. We suggest taking the London Underground or Bus to Baker Street.

Prizes:
Ordered! Just gotta make sure they arrive on time...

Hosts and Judges:
This tournament is being hosted by ~Mana~, with Syphon serving as co-host. If you have any queries about the event, feel free to PM us or post in the thread and we'll be happy to help!

Important Advice:
Despite being around friends and rivals, please remember we are in a public park. Bad behaviour and swearing will not be tolerated and will result in a ban from future events. Please keep your personal belongings with you or in a safe place while at the bandstand. If you see any personal items left around with no apparent owner, please hand it in to a judge, so we can return it to its rightful owner. Your cooperation is much appreciated.

Remember to turn up on time. If you arrive later than 12:10pm, your place will be forfeit and you will not be able to participate. If you know you'll be late, please let us know via PM or a post in-thread!

Spread the Word!
Are you as excited about the festivities as we are?! If so, be sure to tell your friends about it! And if you haven't already, follow us on Twitter and like us on Facebook!

1. During Registration, Open Your Account Page

Open your account page on your mobile device (if possible) during registration to help us keep things quick.

2. Arrive On Time

You must arrive by the tournament start time to enter. We cannot add new players to an event once it begins. If you're running late, contact the host.

3. Stay Aware of Your Belongings

We do everything possible to ensure a safe environment, but can't be held responsible for lost or stolen goods. Keep your gear close by!

4. The Tournament Will Last At Least a Few Hours

This event is likely to last at least a few hours. If you can't commit to the entire tournament, you're welcome to come watch and play for fun instead!

5. Listen For Your Username To Be Called

Your name will be called when it's time for your next battle. If you need to leave early or take a break, tell a judge. Missing a match could mean disqualification!

Would be great to have you, especially if it led to events over in Birmingham!

Awesome! Just filled it out.

I need to be able to buy some gear first. Stupid question (for a beginner!), but if I bought the following, is there anything else I'd need to get to improve it or be able to compete?

Lost Longinus is a solid choice to start out with, and comes with a launcher anyway, so you'd have everything you need to start playing there and then!

As I say to others who lack parts though, some other participants (including myself) are happy to lend parts on the day for use in the tournament, so don't feel like you're missing out!

Awesome thanks. What would you say the best attack option in the burst generation is?

Layers with jagged edges and good teeth is the way to go on attack types

Teeth as in layers locking mechanism strength

Well, the Lost Longinus you've ordered is a good start towards that. A popular combo for that at the moment is Lost Longinus Gravity Hold, so the parts for that can be found in B-36 Booster Rising Ragnaruk .G.R and B-63 Booster Beast Behemoth .H.H, both of which are easily found and cheap boosters to get hold of. Even the Beast Behemoth layer found in that B-63 release has shown promise in the past, haha.
