Beyblade X launcher
Beyblade X Deckbox or a box with three dividers that is opaque
Don’t forget your Blader’s Spirit!
Deck Registration: Each Blader prepares 5 combos and registers them at tournament check-in. Combos may not be changed during the tournament.
How to Play 5G B5B2:
5G B5B2 Pick-Ban Sequencing:
Judge Inspection: Bladers present 5 assembled Beys for inspection by the Judge and their opponent. At any point until a winner is decided and the match concludes, they can ask questions if any parts are difficult to see, ensuring full clarity on each other’s combos before and during play.
Whenever a Bey is banned, the Judge immediately separates it so there’s no confusion or accidental reuse.
A coin flip will be used to decide which Blader announces their Ban first. After the winner of the flip declares a Ban, the other Blader announces theirs. This setup encourages skill-building by requiring Bladers to strategize which of the remaining combos is most critical to their opponents Deck Composition.
Lead Pick: Bladers A & B each select 1 Bey from their 5-BeyPool. That chosen Bey is placed in front of the Blader (visible to all) and is effectively “locked in,” making it safe from any subsequent Ban.
First Ban: The Judge performs a coin flip to determine who bans first. The winner bans one Bey from the opponent’s remaining 4-BeyPool; the other Blader then bans one in turn.
Second Pick: From their remaining 3-BeyPool, each Blader chooses another Bey and places it in front of them, clearly visible.
Final Ban: The Judge performs a second coin flip to determine who chooses the Final Ban first. Each Blader bans one Bey from the opponent’s 2-BeyPool in turn.
Last Pick: Each Blader selects their final remaining Bey, then reorders their chosen Beys in the Deck Box to finalize their lineup.
Match Start: With selections and bans settled, the battle begins by presenting the Bey in the First Slot of their Deckbox.
How to Win:
Score “X” amount of Points in your Match type for the given Stage. For example, “Stage 1: First to 5 Points.”
Optional Rules:
This tournament uses the following Optional Rules, in addition to or in place of rules listed in the Format Rulebook:
First Stage Points:
- Matches are played to 4 points for this Tournament.
Final Stage Points:
- Matches are played to 5 points for this Tournament.
Launching:
- A battle begins with the call of “3–2–1 Go Shoot!” Launching on the word SHOOT.
Win Condition Point Values
In First Stage, score point(s) when:
- The opposing Beyblade stops spinning (1 Pt)
- The opposing Beyblade enters the Over Zone and cannot return to the Battle Zone (1 Pt)
- The opposing Beyblade enters the Xtreme Zone and cannot return to the Battle Zone (2 Pt)
- The opposing Beyblade bursts (2 Pt)
In Final Stage, score point(s) when:
- The opposing Beyblade stops spinning (1 Pt)
- The opposing Beyblade enters the Over Zone and cannot return to the Battle Zone (1 Pt)
- The opposing Beyblade enters the Xtreme Zone and cannot return to the Battle Zone (2 Pt)
- The opposing Beyblade bursts (2 Pt)
Battle Limit and Consecutive Draws:
No limits apply to Battles per Match or the number of consecutive Draws allowed.
Continuous Side Switching:
Bladers will alternate sides after each Battle. Initial sides are chosen by fair means (e.g., coin flip or rock-paper-scissors).
Alternative Launching Rule:
- Bladers will be stationed across from each other on the Left and Right sides of the BeyStadium. Which side each Blader assumes must be decided by fair means (ex. Judge’s coin flip/dice roll, or rock-paper-scissors), with the winner getting to pick their starting side. This orientation is inverted after each subsequent Battle.
Gameplay Key Notes:
1. Relaunching:
Bladers may request a relaunch under the following conditions:
- A malfunctioning launcher results in an underpowered launch.
- Accidental interference or obstruction occurs.
- Contact happens mid-air before Beyblades touch the stadium floor.
Own Finish (Self-KO) or Launch Errors:
Repeated self-knockouts (S-KO) or mis-launch attempts without scoring (2 offenses) award the opponent 1 point.

We would like everyone to have a deckbox if possible, but if not, it has to be a box with dividers in it that would create 3 compartments and must be opaque.
Ohhhhh ok, I don't have a box with dividers but I do have a carrying case, not hard but still opaque and usable, is that ok?

It depends on what you define as a carrying case. This particular event has already reached and exceeded its participant cap, but we’d be happy to add you to the waitlist if you’re still interested. Also, you're more than welcome to come by during our Free Play hour before the tournament starts, we can review your container at that point. It's a great time to meet other Bladers and get some battles in. Let us know what you'd prefer.
