We now know that the tournament will definitely go ahead. We have one possible venue at the moment:
Location:
ExCeL
Royal Victoria Dock
London,
E16 1XL, UK
Your hosts:
Me (ChozenBlader)
TheGigsMeister
Judges:
Blitz
Gekiryu
The time of day and the specific date are still to be decided, but for any suggestions towards running the tourney, or if you want to apply to be a judge, say so here.
Tournament setup:
There will be a plastics division, MFB Division and HMS division. The winners will get prizes (but we do not know what the prizes will be as of yet). Also, there will be a free-play section as well, for those who want to test combos or simply blade for the sake of it.
The matches will run on the point system. [/b]
For the record, according to the rules, if you break your opponents blade, you win instantly (although I must stress, please don't try to do this on purpose)
There may be a small entrance fee to pay for the prize. The amount is undecided.
Feel free to suggest any ideas.
IMPORTANT: There will be a blacklist. If your name is added to it, you will not be allowed to attend the tourney. This is to prevent trouble makers from spoiling the event.
Also, please, if you can, bring a stadium with you. The more stadiums we have, the more battles we can have at one time. Please note: Only Takara stadiums are legal for competitive play.
You will be allowed to buy and sell beyblades at the tournament. Just make sure your prices aren't outrageous

I just can't see them reaching the same potential as the HMS did.
Espio, Pegasis uncustomized can almost beat Wolborg MS. I'd expect MFB to eventually overtake HMS.
However, there is no "Metal Division" option in the WBO.

I stand corrected. I have not really tried HMS vs MFB yet and have only been going by discussion. But thank you for the update.

I don't consider myself owned in anyway. He was not trying to own me. Part of what I said was correct for this current point in time. Again, atleast TRY to progress a subject...jeez.
sorry, i didn't actually mean to offened you ;_;
I'm still waiting for them to announce the damned dates because we need to know for this and to get hotels booked and carp (Because I'm going with a Cosplay group)
However there may be a slight chance I will not make it to the Tourney if the Pokemon TCG nationals are in the May Expo, as I will be going to that and probably wont be able to afford the second trip.

I still reacon the May expo is the better of the two.

I'm dressing up as max tate and will be with beyblade nation cosplay group

I have contacted the MCM Expo (if May is chosen) regarding sponsorship for the tournament. I will post up any news that I receive within the coming days hopefully.

There's a Beyblade nation cosplay group? I saw some beyblade cosplays in october actually. Which I think is pretty rare. Where they part of that?
IF (and i emphasize the if) I can come then Ill bring My Cyber Dragoon and possibly MFB Attack
MFB attack would probably be the better of the two, since Hasbro stadiums are grade-A carp.
Plus, assuming this is going to be a WBO event then Hasbro are not permitted to be used anyway =D.
Previously on this thread there was a list of Stadiums including Hasbros
Although they are carp
Although they are carp
That was Ideas for stadiums before we made it Takara only.
You can use Hasbro but you won't get any ranking points for doing so.
You can do that, but personally...I would use Takara period. You get battle points for wins and they are far superior to Habro.
I could try and bring all three of my MFB stadiums if I come. If that is the case then they will be using Takara stadiums against me lol. I think that ChozenBlader needs to ammend the first post...¬_¬
