We both are done with our entries although just waiting for tomorrow.
Why not just post it today? All you are doing is wasting time if thats the case.

Either way, I've seen our works from the original Sonic Battle..
Because that was the due date of the match ...
Entry 1: Nice. You could have worked on more effects and depth though.
Entry 2: Also good. Stop using scanlines *user*.

Hm.....Entry 1 GMV.
Entry 1: There is absolutely no interaction between Shadow and the background, it is a completely random background. The C4D in the left looks horribly blended and has no connection with the signature. Shadow looks like he is floating on an image, there is no blending done on him, and there is no depth, his contrast and brightness look completely different than that of the background.

Entry 2: The flow is good and there is interaction, blending is also good. But there is horrible depth, because of the scanlines. If there were scanlines only on the background and not on the render, depth would be there, the image looks very flat, and a border should have been there.

Entry 2 gets my vote.

But, good job to both, you're improving.
so its :

entry 1: 1
" 2: 1
Entry 1: although Shadow is awesome, the background does not seem to flow with the image, it wrecks the flow...

Entry 2: the scan lines take away some of the image quality, and silver on his board seems pretty cool...

My vote goes for entry 2, as the contrast in 1 just doesn't flow... although I think entry 2 would have been better without the scan lines...

I cant really describe both...
my vote goes to entry 2 but what are the line for?
Entry 1 :shadow appeals to me more there is a cool background and a nice picture . entry 2 is kind of blurry and there r some random pixil dots that r the wrong color

Coolness factor.

But, it was too reduce the light. Imagine if there werent any of the lines, it will kill you(personal experience)

the dude on top of me:
scan lines. They were overlayed with the background

What Electric said.
entry 1 flows in with the background more
Seriously, Entry 2 just abused Block Pattern and Scanline mix. Entry 1, eh, no blending is shown but at least placement is decent.

Entry 1.
That hardcore pixelation in E2 on purpose kills it.
Perhaps a more appropriate background would have been better for E1, tbh it looks like you just smashed it on any random picture with little effort IMHO.
E2.
Entry 2, Dan's reasoning.
I MESSED UP AGAIN! I meant entry 1 SouL_, so if you'd id update the scores, please add one to Entry 1.
I'm voting Entry 2 because of the same reason as everyone else who voted for entry 2.
Entry 2 Dan's reasoning
I vote entry 1 it looks cleaner 2 looks old
Score check!:

Entry 1: 5
Entry 2: 8
It's a close battle Wink. Maybe I did a mistake by adding the <name_here> .. but yours is good too Grin.
