Part 1: Japan's National Tournament

As I walk home from school, I see kids my age blading in a Zero-G stadium in an alleyway, I look to see what's going on, a dark haired boy is annihilating the other boys bey, the one that's losing is crying like it's a big deal. "Hey! Come here."A boy says to me. "Why?" I ask in response. "You blade?" He asked me. "Sure" I replied. "You good enough to beat him?" He pointed to the dark haired guy who just won. "Probably." I said confidently. "Then do it, he's the best here." He said. "Three, Two, One, Let it RIIIIPPPP!" I said while he said "Go shoot". The beys were off, violently clashing as if they were actually fighting. "The name's Kite." The guy said. "Kazuki" I said. My bey PaladinNemeanB125RCF sped up and slammed his bey, his bey shoved mine back. I had to use my "Skill", a "Skill" is a power that only certain people have, mine is telekinesis. "Go Nemean, Teleport Smash." I said before Paladin Nemean teleported to random spots around the stadium, bashing into his bey. " Go AssassinWingW130R3F, Forest World." He shouted as trees grew in the stadium, he must have a "Skill". Suddenly I got a bad headache." Ow, It hurts!" I yelled in agony. "Quit Battling!" A kid with tan skin and brown hair who looked like a surfer said before he launched a green bey at the stadium, slamming into Kite's Assassin Wing, shoving it out of one pocket. His beyblade swerved and smacked my bey into another pocket. All of the trees in the stadium evaporated into the stadium, out of sight.

"Who are you!?" I yelled. "Shane, Shane Pierce." He answered. "Well, Sasquatch, let's battle."I declared. "OK, Three." He said. "Two." I answered him. "One, LET IT RIP!" We recited loudly. Our beys clattered into the stadium, but suddenly we heard a voice. "Let's bey battle!" It said. I turned around and saw a kid not much older than me holding a bey-blaster aimed at me, he fired and hit me in the shoulder. "Ouch!" I yelled in pain. "That's my bey, BruteCyclopsTS145EWB, and I'm Ken" He laughed deviously. "Well this is my bey SoldierYeti170XWD, and he wants to battle." Shane announced confidently. " Three Two One, LET IT RIP!" Ken yelled quickly before launching his bey at the stadium, less than a second later Shane launched his bey. Shane's bey went in for an attack, but Cyclops's track started glowing and Soldier Yeti was stopped in his tracks "Cyclops, Triple Armor!" Ken shouted.

"You can't, you can't have a skill" I stuttered. "A skill?" Ken asked. "That power you are using." I answered. "Oh, that's what it's called. Yep, I've got one" Ken said. "Quit talkin' and battle, I've got a skill and I'm gonna use it. Go Yeti, Mind Bomb!" Shane yelled. The headache came back "AH, AM I GETTING MIGRAINES?" I shouted in pain. "Could that be his skill?" I muttered under my breath. "AAAHH, AAAHH, AAAAAAAAHHH!" Ken screamed in agony, holding his head with his hands. Then Soldier Yeti smacked Brute Cyclops out of the stadium and the pain was gone. "Wow, that's one skill you've got there." I told Shane, before shaking his hand. "Whatever." Ken muttered. "Hey, you were a pretty good challenge, Ken. Come on guys, you can meet my uncle. He taught me to use my skill." He told us. And we were off. "Hello Shane, are these your new friends you texted me about?" A man who looked like a surfer and looked like Shane said. "Yep, Uncle Shaun. Guys, this is my uncle. He could teach you how to use your skills" Shane replied. "Skills, are those the powers that certain people have, you thought of a name?" He asked. "Actually I did, Sir." I told him "Don't call me Sir, call me Shaun." He told me. "OK, Sir." I joked. "Well, let's get training!" He declared enthusiastically.

"Okay Kazuki, as your training you are gong to climb that mountain." Shaun pointed to a tall mountain a few miles away. "Are you serious?!" I asked loudly. "Well yeah, it will teach you to use your power to it's full potential." Shaun answered. "What! How does that work, climbing a mountain isn't beyblading." I stated. "No it isn't, but climbing a mountain won't just give you more endurance physically, it will also give you mental and spiritual stamina too." Shaun said. "OK, all of your gear is on, right?" Shaun said for the fourteenth time. "Yes, I'm ready." I said irritatedly. "Good luck!" Shane told me. "What he said." Ken said. "Here's the plan: Kazuki will climb up the mountain, once you get to the top, Shane will probably be waiting for you and finally sled down the side of the mountain. Got it?" Shaun explained. "Got it!" I told him.

I am walking toward a 7,000-Foot tall mountain, the greatest challenge of my life; I take my first step onto the mountain. “Hey Kazuki, good luck." Shane blurted. "OK, I'll need it." I said happily. It’s winter, so the mountain is 100% covered in snow. As I trudged over the snowy ground, I wondered what this journey had in store for me. In front of me I saw a wall of ice that looked like it was 50 feet tall, I jammed a pickaxe into the wall, followed by another pickaxe with my left arm, and then my right arm again, and again, and suddenly I was really high up into the air. After much struggling, I stood on my pickaxes and hoisted myself on the top of the wall. After getting to the top of the wall I walked, and climbed, and walked, and climbed for what seemed like forever. I was in a meadow, propped up against a tree watching rabbits and beavers and squirrels, the animals begin running as if something is threatening them. Kite walks into the meadow, and I hear ringing. I am lying in the snow and my cell phone is ringing. “Kazuki, where are you?†My mother asks. “I am climbing a mountain.†I say sleepily. “You are WHAT?†My mother scolds. “What?†I am barely awake. “The mountain a few miles from our house?†She asks. “Yes, Mom.†I answer sleepily. “I want you back by 8, It’s 7 right now.†She explains. “OK, I will be home by at least 8.†I answer. “I love you, Bye.â€She tells me over the phone. “I love you too.†I tell her. I suddenly figure out that I am in a cave and the the opening is covered in snow; my light source is a hole in the snow. Fueled with rage, I shout. “Gah, how will I get out?!†Oddly the snow covering the opening flies away swiftly. “Wait, am I doing that?†I mumble excitedly, it must be my skill. I walk out and climb to the top which isn’t far from my little cave. “What’s up†A mysterious voice says. “Shane, is that you?†I question. “Yep, and look at these.†He holds up a sled. “Nice.†I tell Shane. We sledded down the mountain and I get home before my mom kills me.

"Go Nemean, Teleport Smash" I shouted. "Aw man, I lost." The girl said in despair. The guy with the headphones walked away "You lost Emi, you're a waste to hang around with." "Hiro, wait!" Emi cried. "No, it would be a waste to have you with me." Hiro said coldly. "What kind of jerk are you?" I yelled at Hiro. "Get away from me." He aimed a launcher at me, I raised mine in return. "Hiro, he's just a little kid." Emi said in fear. "No Emi, he has something that allowed him to beat you, good or bad. But he's a person so I'll test if he is worth being with" Hiro said. "I'll rip you into shreds!" I yelled. "OK, three." Hiro said without emotion. "Two." I answered. "One, Go shoot!" We said in harmony. Nemean went for an attack, while Hiro's bey avoided it. "Go, MageNessSCH145AB!" Hiro said as Mage Ness zoomed around the stadium uncontrollably and crashed into my Paladin Nemean. "A cryptid bey, cool." I smiled. Get away, get away! Mage Ness, Illusion Attack" Hiro said like a maniac as the world seemed as if it was moving away. As it finished it was somewhat like I was looking at a mirror, and my reflection had an evil looking smirk on his face. "Lets battle!" He held his Paladin Nemean and it had a shadowy purple chrome wheel whereas mine had it's normal yellow. His bey clashed with mine, and smashed it away. "Go Kazuki!" I forgot, Shane and Ken were here, and I want to win. I remembered that this must all be Hiro's work, and I can effect it. "You're not real." I said to Mr. Copycat and he started melting away. "I'll be back." He said angrily. "You can win!" Shane and Ken shouted. I began feeling something, and it made me say something. "Hiro, this is the power of friendship, Nemean Empathy Attack!" Nemean's tip started glowing, that's Ken's skill. "OW, my head." Hiro grabbed his head with his hands, then Nemean teleported behind Ness and smacked it out of the stadium. "I've won." I say.

“Hey Kazuki, nice meeting you here†Kite told me. “Kite?†I asked. “Who else could I be?†Kite answered. “Three.†I grabbed my launcher. “How about you battle my friend Joey?†Kite pointed to a kid wearing a hat. “I’ll take you down with my AssassinNocturneDR165RBS and make my big brother proud!†Joey declared confidently. “Big talk, let’s see if you can back it up.†I smiled. “This looks fun.
I say. “Okay I’ll really show you the power of Joey Utara, younger brother of the number one blader in Italy!†He shouted. “Three!†I aimed my launcher. “Two!†He did the same. “One, Let it RIIIIPP!†We yelled in unison. The beys landed far apart on the stadium, my bey swerved and spun out of control, letting his bey dodge the attack with ease. His bey sped up and tried to knock my bey out of the pocket, I used my skill for a second and teleported behind him and Nemean tried to push Nocturnal out of the pocket. “Now, Nocturnal Vortex!†Joey screamed in anger. His bey has looked like a defense type until now, Nocturnal spun around in circles so fast that his bey was just a blur in the stadium, Nemean tried to get out of the middle of the stadium, Nocturnal bashed him then he was back in the middle of the stadium. I knew what I had to do, but it would be hard to pull off. “Go Nemean, Meteorite Slam!†I yelled. I was using my skill to its full power; Nemean went up into the sky. “Going down.†I announced, and Nemean zoomed toward the stadium and hit the opposite side of the stadium as Nocturnal and catapulted the other bey out of the stadium. “That was awesome!†Joey yelled. “Good game.†I said happily.

I stared at the E-mail Shane sent me. "The national beyblade tournament, yeah!" I yelled in sheer joy. "What's wrong with you?" My older sister Makoto questioned. "My friends and I just got invited to the national beyblade tournament!" I yelled excitedly. "First, good for you. Second, DON'T YELL IN MY FACE!" She screamed at me, but by the time she finished her sentence I was out the door and on the way to Shane's house. "What's up, Kazuki?" Shaun asked. "Not much." I answered quickly. "Hi Kazuki, you ready to practice?" He held up a launcher. "Let's do it!" I said excitedly as I ran down the stairs. "Three, Two, One, Let it RRIIIPP!" We said in unison. But when I launched, my string ripped in half. "Come on." I said in disappointment. "Looks like you guys'll need a sponsor." Ken said. "I think I can help with that." Said Joey. "My big bro's got a bunch from being the best in Italy, I can get you some since I'm his brother." He explained. "Then let's do it." Shane declared. Joey dialed something on a smartphone. "Hello, this is Joey Utara." He spoke through the phone. "I was hoping you could sponsor my team in Japan's national tournament." "Yes, you can put your logo on our shirts, thank you." Joey put his phone in his pocket. "Okay, we're back in business." I said happily. "Actually the company want's us to have dinner with them to sort it all out." He said. "What company is it?" Shane asked. "CompCo." He answered. CompCo is the top computer company in the world, I'm surprised that Joey got them to be our sponsor in the tournament. "Woah." My jaw dropped. "Dinner's tonight, so try to look nice." Joey said.

I walked to the subway Joey was planning for us to take, I was itching my neck because my shirt was made from some funny material that made me itch. Without talking, our group walked on the subway and sat down. "I'm starving." I said happily. "Yep, me too." Shane agreed. That whole train ride I thought about what would happen during the meal. "CompCo is my brother's favorite sponsor." Joey attempted to start a conversation. "Why?" I asked in return. "My brother says they supply him with the best stuff." Joey replied as I saw the restaurant we were going to. "Wow, that isn't any McDonald's." I said in awe while we got off the subway. "Come on in." An official-looking man walked to a table. While we ate we conversed about the team. The CEO pulled something out of his coat pocket, a launcher with a bey. "I feel compelled to test your skills." I grabbed my bey from my pocket and tore off my fancy shirt off and I wore a T-shirt under it. Three men beside him stood up and aimed their launchers, my friends did the same. Everyone put their beys on their launcher and yelled. "Three, two, one, GOOO, SHOOOTT!" My friends barraged their opponents and won. My Paladin Nemean attacked the man's bey and the man's bey endured it, Nemean attacked again and the same happened. It's a defense bey, so I have to use another way. "Nemean, Teleport Smash!" I shouted. Like I planned, easy win. "Good job Kazuki, you are officially sponsored by CompCo."

Nemean avoided the dragonic bey. “Feel my wrath, fool!†Ryu shouted in glee. “I won’t unless you feel mine first!†I yelled in anger to cover my fear. “Hunter Dragooon, Dark Matter attack!†Ryu activated his skill and created a black hole. How did this begin? It started this morning. BEEP! BEEP! BEEP! My alarm rang at six thirty, and hour after I woke up. “Hey mom my tournament’s today, and Shane told me to come early. His uncle is also making our whole team breakfast.†I explained. “At Six-thirty?†She asked. After two hours of watching TV I started talking. “Hey mom, can I go now? The tournament starts in two hours.†She starts talking too. “OK, but if they aren’t awake come home.†She told me. “OK, thanks.†I said as I ran out the door, Shane’s house isn’t that far away from mine and Joey and Ken live across the street from me. When I got to Shane’s house there was amazing a feast of bacon, sausage, waffles, and eggs. For the next hour we talked about who we thought would be there and what beys they will use. Shaun told us to get in the car because the tournament was an hour away, but we were lucky because we were only an hour away. We got there ten minutes early and got signed up really fast. “Would team Dragon Blade and Team Star Knights report to Stadium One?†The intercom blared, we were Team Star Knights. We walked to the first stadium, an extra-large Zero-G stadium. Joey went first and surprisingly lost his battle, Shane went next and won faster than I could understand what was happening. It was my turn. "Hi, I'm Ryu.'' He greeted happily. “Three, two, one, let it shoot!†Our word mixed as we said different things. The beys hit the stadium floor, and his bey stayed in the same place while mine attacked like mad. Paladin Nemian finally bashed his bey. So now you understand what’s happened up until now.

My bey was pulled closer to the black hole. The whole crowd gasped after he used a skill, I hadn't noticed how gigantic the crowd was until now. "You can't win, Kazuki," Ryu declared with a twisted smile. "My power won't let that happen." I began laughing. "Ha, give it your best try." I challenged. Go, destroy him!" He commanded his bey, making it barrage and smack my bey dangerously near a pocket. I got an idea for how to trick Ryu. I used my skill as swiftly as possible to push Nemean into the stadium floor, forcing the stadium to sway at my will. Ryu didn't seem to be effected at all by this new trick, as he kept on smacking my bey. "You think that type of thing will stop my Hunter DragooonBL14C2F? I'll teach you, BLACK HOLE APOCOLYPSE!" He screamed with a mixture of rage and twisted joy. The vortex trid to eat everything, it made the stadium implode on itself. "NO, NO, NO, I WILL NEVER QUIT UNTIL I TAKE KITE DOWN!" My emotions ran wild, but I wasn't ready to stop talking. "Nemean, Meteor Shower!" My beyblade started it's ultimate attack, teleporting one place and smacking the other top from the sky over and over, stronger and stronger until Ryu's Dragooon just ran out of spin power. "Good game, Kazuki," He was suddenly happy. "That was awesome!" He high-fived me. "Yep, that was fun!" I could understand his emotions without saying a word. I still can't understand how such a nice guy can go so crazy.
Chapter 12 Told in Shane's POV (Click to View)
After the insanity that was round one of the national tourney, it was explained to the losers that it was a double-elimination tournament and they could battle at least one more time. In the second battle of the day, Kite and two boys I didn’t know swept the floor with their opponents. The next few rounds were very boring, although I saw a few bladers with “skillsâ€. After three whole hours round two finally started, soon I heard the loud BEEP of the intercom. “Team Star Knights and Team Synchrom Smash to stadium five!†The man on the intercom announced. “Remember Shane, you’re the leader.†Kazuki reminds me. “Yep, and I’m totally pumped.†I reply. Kazuki goes first, tearing the opponent up. I started breathing to calm myself down. “Come on Shane, do what Uncle Shaun tells you to do when you’re nervous.†I whisper to myself. “Good luck.†All three of my teammates say. “Thanks.†I say with fake excitement. “Three, two, one, GOOO SHOOOTT! My opponent and I shout in harmony. The beys clash together for the first time in the tournament, calming me down slightly. “What’re you doing?†My opponent says. I soon notice I’m shaking because I was so nervous. “Um-I’m just excited.†I lie. His bey goes in for an attack, but my bey is a defensive wall. His bey flies backwards with recoil, and it almost falls out of the stadium but the top begins to circle. “I’m gonna win, go ChupacabraChupacabraSW145CB!†He shouted. “Oh, a Synchrom Cryptid bey? Go SoldierYeti170XWD, Mind Bomb!†As I used that move I felt a lot less nervous. “AAAAAH! That hurts!†He yelled, soon I stopped the attack. “Thanks, that hurt bad. Good game.†He shook my hand. We walked out of that battle victorious, excited to win. Though I still don’t know how he knew that it was me giving him the headache with my skill.
Chapter 13 Told in Ryu's POV (Click to View)
I kept running from the shadowy figure. I was getting tired, but I kept running. I soon neared an apartment building. I began climbing a fire escape, but I wasn’t climbing fast enough. The figure caught up to me, I fell; suddenly something jumped off of the building and caught me as I fall. “What the heck!†I shouted, hiding my fear. I quickly scanned what this guy looked like, he was in the late five foot range for height, he was wearing a jacket with a tall collar so you couldn’t see his neck, and his most notable feature was a mask covering his entire face. “Did that man create any ripples?†He interrogated. “Ripples, what?†I ponder. “I have a few things to tell you, Kid.†He cleared his throat. “First, that man is here to cause trouble.†He told me. “Oh really, I didn’t know. He knocked out my friend Kazuki and started chasing me.†I said sarcastically. “Second, he’s you.†He said as if it were nothing. “Me? What are you saying?†My voice increased in volume. “In three days you will be in the hospital because of Kazuki, and he is trying to stop that from happening, but I can’t tell you why you are in the hospital to avoid breaking the timeline.†He explained. “Timelines?†My words echoed in my mind as he thought. “It’s time to spill the beans, whatever you do, just stay calm.†He looked worried. “Sure.†I said briefly. “That man and I are from the future, with him trying to not get disqualified from the tournament because of his injury. I also have a secret to show you.†He took off his mask, and I thought I saw a ghost.
Chapter 14 Told in Ryu's POV (Click to View)
The man’s face looked exactly like Kazuki’s, but with older details. “As I’ve told you, I’m from the future.†He said quietly to me. “Are you really him? Are you Kazuki?†I stutter. “Who else is this handsome? Yup, I’m Kazuki.†He sounded just like Kazuki. “If you’re from the future, don’t you have a time machine?†I ask. “Sure, it’s right here.†He pulled a bey out of his pocket, it was a Nemean. “Is that?†I couldn’t finish my sentence. “Yeah, it’s my good ol’ Nemean.†He smiled. “It looks different.†I say as if it’s a question. “It’s hard to explain, but Nemean evolves and gets a new power. But I can’t spoil anything else.†He acted scared of something. “Do you live in a utopian future or a dystopian future?†I interrogate him. “I can’t say the answer due to spoiler purposes.†He explains. “So, why are you here?†I question. “I am here to prevent your future self from messing anything up. I also really want to watch the rest of the tournament; it was really fun when I was a kid.†He smiles, remembering something from the future. “OK, but how would you be there without people knowing who you are?†He pulls out his mask and straps it onto his face. “With this, you didn’t know who I was until I took it off.†He speaks in a way only Kazuki could, with excitement and calmness at the same time. “Don’t tell past me that future me is here, OK. See ya.†He walks away. I begin to think, pondering what the future holds for Team Star Knights.
Chapter 15 WARNING: VERY SHORT! (Click to View)
I flinched as the car sped towards me. I wished with all of my heart that I could do something to avoid it, but I lay there without moving, utterly motionless. I was traumatized, shaking so uncontrollably. With that moment the earth turned black. I awaken to see a man wearing a mask sitting inches from my face. But nothing mattered, I was alive! The man let out a loud sigh. “You’re alive? I th-â€He said to me as everything disappeared. I woke up on a particularly spongy patch of grass, a puddle of drool beside my face. “Kazuki, what’s going on?†The man asked. “What?†I say. “You’re Kazuki. And it looks like you have a case of amnesia, probably from a traumatic experience.†He stated. “I’m who?†My voice sounded off. “Try to think of something from what I say. Ryu? Shane? Ken?†Nothing clicked. “Uh-Nemean?†Everything returned to my mind, confusing me.
Chapter 16 (Click to View)
“Will Team Z-Force and Team Star Knights come to Stadium Five?†The man on the intercom announced. “Z-Force? That’s the team my big brother had a hard time with,†Joey said with an ounce of fear. “They are going to trounce us,†His eyes wide. “Come on Joey. We’re a good team, right?†I tried to calm him. “Is Team Star Knights in the building?†We ran to the stadium, our order was Joey and Shane, and then me. “Three, Two, One, Go Shoot!†Joey and Ventus, a member of Z-force were off .
The beys fought, but in a calm, gentle way. “You look familiar, kid.†Ventus said coolly. Joey replied quickly, he’s nervous. “Y-Y-Yeah, my brother is the Italy champion.†Ventus looked confused. “His name’s Ryan, right?†Joey focused on the battle “Ren… His name is Ren.†Joey’s Nocturne slammed into Ventus’s SpartanTrioW230SGS making it fly with its winged track
“Nocturne! Nocturnal Vortex!†“Trio, Skill Block!†Ventus used a move that made Joey’s Nocturne slow. But Joey fought against it, and it was just too much for him. He fell on the ground by the agony of his Psychic power being nullified. He lost seconds later as his bey was launched from the stadium.
Shane’s turn, he somehow beat the opponent with a skillful launch.
My opponent was a guy named Daisuke, his bey was called TemplarMinosH145CWD. “Three, Two, One, Let It Rip!†We shouted in unison. I was the last hope for the team; I’d be the deciding factor of our win or loss.
“Nemean, go!†Nemean bashed against his Minos, again and again. Not seeming to do anything to his beyblade, I’d have to think of something, and fast. CLINK! CLINK CLINK! His bey pushed at Nemean, doing a ton of damage to my bey. Nemean almost went in the pocket, but I did not feel like losing today. A grin showed on Daisuke’s face, “Minos,CHARGE!†And Minos did charge, it pushed Nemean almost into the pocket. “NO! NO! NO! NEMEAN! TELEPORT SMASH!†I screamed, using my skill with as much power as I possibly could. But it was a feeble attempt, as I lost soon after.
“Kazuki, that was amazing!†Emi congratulated me, and I could’ve sworn that Hiro gave me a Thumbs-Up.
The beys fought, but in a calm, gentle way. “You look familiar, kid.†Ventus said coolly. Joey replied quickly, he’s nervous. “Y-Y-Yeah, my brother is the Italy champion.†Ventus looked confused. “His name’s Ryan, right?†Joey focused on the battle “Ren… His name is Ren.†Joey’s Nocturne slammed into Ventus’s SpartanTrioW230SGS making it fly with its winged track

Shane’s turn, he somehow beat the opponent with a skillful launch.
My opponent was a guy named Daisuke, his bey was called TemplarMinosH145CWD. “Three, Two, One, Let It Rip!†We shouted in unison. I was the last hope for the team; I’d be the deciding factor of our win or loss.
“Nemean, go!†Nemean bashed against his Minos, again and again. Not seeming to do anything to his beyblade, I’d have to think of something, and fast. CLINK! CLINK CLINK! His bey pushed at Nemean, doing a ton of damage to my bey. Nemean almost went in the pocket, but I did not feel like losing today. A grin showed on Daisuke’s face, “Minos,CHARGE!†And Minos did charge, it pushed Nemean almost into the pocket. “NO! NO! NO! NEMEAN! TELEPORT SMASH!†I screamed, using my skill with as much power as I possibly could. But it was a feeble attempt, as I lost soon after.
“Kazuki, that was amazing!†Emi congratulated me, and I could’ve sworn that Hiro gave me a Thumbs-Up.

Three children and twelve felines walk away from their home silently, now a pile of charred rubble. There was a nineteen-year-old male, two twelve-year-old boys, a five-year-old girl, and eleven cats. They were the few survivors of the citywide arson.
The perpetrator fought the top blader in the country, won, then suddenly buildings fell and the city was set aflame. These kids were living in an orphanage when it happened. The boys watched in awe as the Beyblades clashed and clanged, and the girl was training against twelve older kids.
Their town is known as “The city of Beyblade†due to the city’s unrivaled reputation since the time of the Beigoma. These kids were no different than anyone else, but they each had special gifts.
These gifts have been popularized as “Skillsâ€, and they come from radiation and a certain phase of the mind which can only happen during this radiation, resulting in certain psychic power.
The kids were the only ones who had these, except for a young adult who was exposed to this radiation with many kittens around him. These kittens have been shown to live a very long time. This young man saved the kids.
He had excellent agility for an average-sized human, almost catlike. His given name was Max, but it is now Firecat He had been kidnapped at an extremely young age; he had escaped and found a Beyblade Brawler Chimera, and his eleven cats that he has lived with.
The two boys were named Trent and Alec. They are the strongest bladers under eighteen. They were friends before they went to the orphanage. They had each been required to learn how to Beyblade from an old hermit, as they would need those abilities to live.
The girl was Yuki, a gifted five-year-old with a severe lack of playfulness. She went to the orphanage at age two; she cannot remember anything before this time.
Eventually they decided they would try to win the Beyblade National tournament, and then go to Worlds. Each one was as skilled as the last, with each being good at one type of Beyblade.
“I’ve got three-hundred dollars for this year of street-performing. Maybe we could pool our money for a hotel?†Firecat said exhaustedly.
“I’ve got one-hundred from bets.†Yuki said, still slightly crying.
“We’ve got two-hundred from jobs.†Alec said quietly.
“How did you kids get so much?†Firecat questioned.

We’re finally here!†Trent Shouted. “We need a plan. Who goes first? Who’s the leader?†Alec spoke coolly. “Let us have a challenge.†Yuki began. “We’ll have a tournament ourselves, do any of you agree?†Trent got excited. “Yes!†Voices came from the left. “Hey you! Hands up!†A mouthy thug around the age of Firecat yelled. “Are you sure you can take us? We would not want to harm you.†The thug punched at Yuki. “What was that?†The thug exclaimed with laughter. Yuki giggled coldly. “You are pushing it. Imbecile.†Yuki spoke with a devious grin. She wanted this person to attack. “Quiet, kid!†He tried to punch but couldn’t move. “Well, well. Do you like that?†He began bashing himself “Ow, ow!†He didn’t know what this youth could do to him. He began to hear voices in his head. “You shouldn’t have ticked her off, dude. She’s tougher than you think.†He fell asleep. Yuki began to grip the air. “Wnaaah!†A groan-like scream came from the thug. “Yuki! No!†Firecat grabbed her wrist. “What, this idiot attempted to harm me, so I will harm him.†Yuki said with a shadowlike aura surrounding her. “Yuki, you may not drive this person to insanity. He was only trying to get our money.†Firecat held tight to her wrist, and then dropped it. “Oh, you want me to stop? Then feel my wrath!†She tore a Light Launcher 2 equipped with her bey, DarkKnightPerzeusB195RWD from her pocket. Perzeus was in Smash Mode, where the Chrome wheel faces down but is still on top of the combo. “Three! Two! One! Go Shoot!†Both bladers shouted in unison. Yuki’s Perzeus was on the offense, circling the stadium. Perzeus rushed at Brawler Chimera EBD145DWB, Chimera countered each and every one of the young girl’s attacks. “Why can’t I hit you?†Yuki interrogated. “Defense Wide Ball, it can counter moves with the ball tip, but can also be stable like D.†Fircat explained. Yuki pretended not to listen. “Percy! Grand Excavalier!†Firecat’s Chimera started rushing towards “Percyâ€. Firecat’s skill was that he had a Psychic bond with each of his cats, including Chimera. “Come on bud, you can do it. Chimera! Feline Rush!†Chimera gathered energy from all the cats Firecat owned. Chimera rammed into Yuki’s bey, stopping Perzeus’s path around the stadium. Then, the team leader was decided.
