Prepping for the Beyblade Regional Tournament in New Jersey? Test your skills with stock combos and Prove you're the best before earning your entry to Nationals, at the Regional Qualifier up in Teterboro!
We will be doing 5 Rounds of Swiss format. During each match, the first blader to 5 points wins the match. The top 8 will go to a single-elimination playoff.
This Tournament will be held in the Hasbro Xtreme Stadium.
We will be using the standard Beyblade X point guide:
· A Spin Finish is 1 Point
· A Burst Finish is 2 Points
· An Over (Pocket Finish) is 2 Points
· An Extreme Finish is 3 Points
Entry:
Capped at 36 entrants for this one!
Deck Registration:
Judges will be reviewing all 3 deck combos before the start of each match. Each blade in your combo must be unique; no repeating parts will be allowed.
Since this is a Prep tournament for the Qualifier, it will be a Stock Combo Tournament. What this means is; the blades must be played as they came from Hasbro. For this Tournament, you can only use Hasbro released Blades. Any questions on this, please DM me and I can tell you what blades are allowed!
Prizes:
Gamestop Gift Cards for 1st, 2nd, 3rd for Under 13 only.
3 on 3 Match Type Rules:
1. Deck Sequencing
a. Each blader must then choose the initial order which they would like to play with their three Beyblades.
b. All three Beyblades must remain concealed from their opponent. This is typically done through the use of a deck box with three numbered slots, but other methods which accomplish the concealment of the Beyblades and their order are also acceptable.
c. Once a blader has constructed all three Beyblades, and completed sequencing them, they must announce that they are “set” and present their launchers and Beyblades to the judge for inspection.
2. Perform Battles in Sequence
a. Players perform battles following the sequence of the Beyblades in their deck until one player scores 3 total points.
b. The Beyblades in the #1 slot will play each other, followed by #2 vs #2, and #3 vs. #3.
3. Re-order Sequence
a. If neither blader has earned 7 Points after all three battles have been played between all three Beyblades in each deck, bladers will (optionally):
i.Re-order their entire deck in secret within 30 seconds
ii.Then repeat step number four ("Perform Battles in Sequence") as many times as is necessary using their three Beyblades until one blader has earned a total of 7 Points to determine the match winner.
4. Draws
a. If there is a draw in any battle, the battle will be replayed using the same two Beyblades. This may continue for up to two consecutive battles.
b. If a judge calls a second consecutive draw by outspin, bladers must advance to the next Beyblade in their deck if possible or initiate the re-order sequence to start a new battle if the previous battle was between the third Beyblades in their decks.
5. Battle Limit & Consecutive Draws
a. All matches have a battle limit of ten battles.
b. If a tenth battle is played and:
i.One player has more points than the other:
