Glad to see the NC community is finally spreading out from standard, although unfortunately I’m not sure I’ll be able to make this one.

What if you only have one beyblade
Is it like one battle you lose and you are out of the tournament

As Camick said, no, the tournament will not be single elimination. Here are the different possibilities:
If 8-11 participants show up, the tournament will be played utilizing Round Robin format. This means that you will play all other tournament participants, and afterwards, the top four in terms of win-loss ratios will advance to deck format finals.
If 12-16 participants show up, the tournament will be played utilizing Group Round Robin format. This means that the participants will be split into two groups: Block A, and Block B. Everyone in Block A will play against each other, and everyone in Block B will play against each other. The top two in terms of win-loss ratios from each block will advance to deck format finals.
If 17+ participants show up, the tournament will be played utilizing Swiss format. This means that everyone will play five matches (Unless there's an odd number, in which case some players will play only four). The first matchups are determined by seeding, and the matchups following are determined by your win-loss record. The top eight in terms of win-loss ratios will advance to deck format finals.
Hope this answers your question!
