VA has trouble committing...
I'm hopeful that the tournament can be salvaged. "Middle" VA is really on the cusp of getting things going, and it would be a real shame if this didn't go forward.
If ლ(ಠ益ಠლ) and his crew could make the trip, it would go a long way to being more solid and viable for othellog (if the committee sees fit to have him host it)...
So, this tourney is going to continue!
First of all, I will have the WBO Official Rules at the tournament, but I highly advise that you read them yourself.
http://worldbeyblade.org/standardrules.pdf
My Rule on the Reshoot Clause:
The Reshoot Clause can only be used in this tournament if and only if one of the following happens.
-Your beylauncher detaches from your grip
-The prongs on the beylauncher brakes during your launch
-If your beylauncher mechanism breaks(As you cannot pull it back and/or the string cannot retract back into the beylauncher)
The Reshoot Clause can only be called once per tournament.
To make this very clear, once you pick a beyblade for a match, you can not change, or modify the beyblade until that match is over. Unless it is a part like CH120, TH170, or HF/S. The rule book explains this further.
Some other important updated rules:
BeyBattle Wrote:The opposing Beyblade breaking or separating ends the BeyBattle and affords you an automatic win for the BeyBattle. If both Beyblades are found to have broken at the same time, both Bladers may choose new Beyblades, and the BeyBattle will be reset.
Selection of Beyblade and Launcher Wrote:The Blader's Beyblade selection is to be considered undecided until the Beyblade is attached to the Launcher. Once the Beyblade is attached to the Launcher, that Beyblade must be used for the duration of the BeyBattle.
Selection of Beyblade and Launcher Wrote:Note: If using a Beyblade that has multiple modes, it is illegal to change the mode of the part(s) if you have to separate or disassemble the Beyblade in any way to do so. This means that parts such as Lightning L Drago and BD145–which require the Beyblade to be disassembled in order to change modes–cannot be changed during a single BeyBattle. However, you may legally change the modes of parts such as CH120, TH170, and HF/S as many times as you like during a single BeyBattle.
Well, that's pretty much it. I know it is a lot of information, but is very important that the competitors know the rules before the tournament. I will be explaining most of this at the tournament, but I won't have that much time to explain it, so get reading!
I noticed I said "If and only if," man, Geometry class has really changed my wording.
othellog, if would help if you posted an attending/ maybe list. js.
