Regents Rumble

In the same style as SummerSmash, (for those of you that managed to attend) we'll be running a tournament on September 12th in Regents Park.
The location will also be the same, Ready Money Drinking Fountain.
For those of you that had any trouble finding it last time, PM us the day before the event, and we'll provide you wth a mobile numbe so you can call us for directions if necessary.
The tournament style will be block round robin, since this worked well at the last event.

The meeting time will be 12pm, and the tournament should start at 1pm.

The main tournament will be MFB only, but free battles will allow plastic and HMS as usual.

Items we'd recomend for you to bring would include food and drink for yourself, a hooded coat or jacket in case of rain, or suntan lotion if the day seems particularly hot.

We'd also rcomend that if you do intend to take part in the tournament, then bring your own bey.

This may sound like an obvious suggestion, but in the past people have come without, expecting to borrow other peoples.
This would not be a problem, but more than half the blades that have been leant to people have either come back damaged from improper use, or not come back at all.
Obviously this has mde people a lot more reluctant to lend out their own beys.

The entry fee will be the same as usual, free with a blader passport (£6 to buy), or £3 otherwise.

We hope you'll be interested in this tournament, and enjoy it as you have done with previous tournaments.

Is this tourney still going ahead with only 7 people?
Or one of you could take a family member.
We have 6 days. That should be easy to get 1 more person. The thing is if they actually turn up...

Driger, you need another two people since there must be 9 in a tournament.
^ Actually, the minimum amount of people required was changed to 8 a short time ago.

Alright then, it really is one more person to get then. Joyful_3 The point, as you said Driger, is everyone turning up, so I really suggest that those that don't have Flight's number and are not completely know where they are going, take done his number so you will make it. Smile

Edit: Also, sorry to Driger for me being wrong, again.
If we can't get another person, then we could either just do free battles for beypoints, and treat it as a meet up.
Either that, or we could still have a tournament, you just wouldn't get faces for winning, and it wouldn't be WBO verified.
i have questions:
with regards to beyblades used, is the main tourney MFB? if not it sorta sucks cause i think HMS seem stronger and omre likely to win over MFB and id rather not spend £6 or £7 on an HMS just to be competetive.

and the other question is ... where abounce is regents? im in south-west (exeter) and i havent heard of it, is it midlands? north? east? i dunno!

thanks, depending i may be able to get there which would be cool

MFB can easily beat HMS.

It's in London.

Since MFB are the current line, I'd think we would use MFB in current tournaments.

HMS are by no means stronger than MFB either.

I do however, hope you can come despite our prior disagreements.
london? oh god no! thats a good 4 hours+ from exeter. the only things ive travelled that far for is pokemon nationals and WKA squad training for world championships.

sorry, for something liie this ... its a long way to go
You could have just checked Google for where Regent's Park was.
Just phoned work to find out my hours.... Not good working Saturday... I never do Saturday's Pinching_eyes_2
I'll try get out of it, but If I can't then yeh sorry guys Pinching_eyes_2
Noooooooooooooooooooo!!! it won't be the same with out you. not fareAngry
This is shaping out to be a bit of a mess.
At this rate, there isn't anywhere near enough people for a tournament, and for 5 people, this doesn't really seem like a worthwhile event to hold...
I'm sorry to say it, but it might be worth postponing this to a later date.
People that are definately coming try and bring a couple of friends 1 2 as many as you can plz reply.
what's the minimum age for this? cus i really want to go.
There is no minimum age.
We had a blader last time who were about 7 I think.

I never admitted I liked beyblade at school Lips_sealed So, I wouldn't be able to bring any friends Tongue_out
I wouldn't try too hard ZeroBJ, until further notice I'm postponing this event.
It's illogical for us to do this event at this point in time, since such a small amount of people can come.
We will keep everyone updated on any developments in this.
Postpone means put on hold - right? So its not gonna go ahead on saturday then...

EDIT: Dont worry i actually took the time to read your other post which was about postponing to a later date.
oh well that's bad for the people who could go but good for me cause when it starts up again i'll be able to go!
nooooooooooooooooooo
Megablader depending if your free on that time or not.
