Ugh, those are just soo much effort.

At the place I rented mine from, yeah. Besides, I didn't want to guilt anyone into pushing me around, and having to wheel myself around would have been tiring to have to do all weekend. Plus, the electric kart was soooooo carp fun to just ride around the halls of the Ren in. XD

No, it's not genuine enough, because it's something that doesn't last a long time, and I am guessing it was caused by something you could have easily done something about by improving yourself in a meaningful way (after reading the causes). Maybe you should use this as a wakeup call instead of spiraling further into your self-deterioration.
