Random Thoughts 5 - READ RULES IN FIRST POST

Vicodin is not an anti-depressant, it's a narcotic opioid painkiller.

One hundred miligrams of it(the reported amount, which seems to have no real verification at the moment) is enough to destroy the liver of a man of basically any size if taken in a single day, assuming he was actually taking Vicodin, which is Hydrocodone(the actual analgesiac) compounded with Paracetamol(Tylenol, Acetaminophen, etc.). Vicodin comes in 5mg/500mg(500 of paracetamol), 7/650, and 10/700 compounds. It only takes about 4000mg of Paracetamol to completely wreck someone's liver if taken in one single day. Even at the lowest dosage, he would've taken 10,000 miligrams of Paracetamol.

Given what he was doing in college, there is a very slim chance he was unaware of this, and this could be a possible attempt at pre-jailtime but post-arrest suicide. By the time he would've been caught, it would've been processed into his body, so no amount of kilation will be likely to help. Assuming this ends up confirmed, he'll probably be jaundiced within a couple of days, and in a hospital away from other inmates just to be kept alive to face his sentencing.

There is rarely anything that can ever be said about incidents like this with any actual understanding of the scope of them. It was simply an atrocity committed by an unstable individual, and the families deserve more justice than is feasible.

I should also point out, though, that if he did actually take the alleged amount of the alleged medication, it probably saved more lives than anything else that day. He fired more than six hundred shots, and only 71 people were hit, in fully packed, crowded movie theaters. While a single 5, 7, or 10mg dose isn't particularly impairing, 15-20mg+ taken at one time can be staggering. It is surprising he would've been able to stay upright at all.

If he really did take that amount I'm surprised he didn't just nod off
Wow. Sad stuff.

Yeah guys when I make a sarcastic post like that it's really not a signal that it's okay for everyone to go stupid. One person making the joke is plenty, and this kind of thing is why largely unnecessary rules get made and warnings handed out for minor infractions, and why I get yelled at for setting a bad example.

Yeah I just played in and stopped. No need to carry it on...

Hydrocodone is actually prone to causing an Insomnia-like effect about half the time, rather than drowsiness.
When I was trying to go to sleep last night, I kept seeing all sorts of hypnogogia. It's kind of annoying, and can be pretty freaky sometimes. Does anybody ever get this from time to time?

I tend to linger inbetween sleep and waking for about half an hour before falling asleep, which often leads to being jerked to consciousness by whatever's going on around, but that's about the extent of it. Never anything out of the ordinary... although, I have occasionally heard very loud noises that often do not seem to've actually been that loud at all.
The boundary between the conscious and subconscious mind is small but strong; I have only managed to have control over a dream (a lucid dream) 3 times in my whole life over the course of 10 years, the 1st one 10 years ago, and the other 2 being months ago, and all 3 I had little control over. However, I have always seemed to have a small acute awareness that I am dreaming as I am dreaming, but I cant control or interfere with the events of the dream usually. The 1st lucid dream was by complete accident, but the latest 2 were the result of training, but I haven't had any the past few months. They will run their course like any normal dream even if I gain partial awareness.
I prefer not to involve myself in dreaming or anything related to it; I want sleep to seem as immediate a transition between time as possible, but to still feel restful. So, I avoid foods that stimulate dream memory near sleep, and just kind of fall asleep naturally, rather than trying to manipulate anything.

I want to rest, not be stimulated.

That's the worst.... Pinching_eyes_2 When that I happens, I usually walk around for a bit and go back to bed, and it stops.

You can be lucid and have no control over the dream at all.Dream control is an entirely different story. I wish I had dream control in my lucid dreams, then maybe I'd be able to figure out some of what's going on. Uncertain

I prefer dreams, as I like to be aware of things. If I'm lucid, I can think like normal, and I'm not missing over 8 hours of thinking time, even if most of the thoughts won't make as much sense when I wake up.

Well, I got taught how to play Cardfight Vangaurd today. I'm in love with the game already. Does anyone else play Vanguard?

PS: Siliva is an awesome teacher.
Say I took the TOEFL test yesterday. It pretty much came fairly well although I screwed the first question on the speaking section. Now I feel sick cuz of the sudden relief of pressure QQ.

Its part of the MyBB Software. So basically its like a "User CP" except it is a "Mod CP". So from the "tools" you can ban people, give warnings, search IP's, view the reported posts, etc ...
Yeah, It's Orange outside where I live!

I wonder what that means....

It means a thunderstorm is coming Speechless
Oh I knew that!

I fell Retarded now
So I'm getting bombarded by a storm right now, and it really doesn't help that we got 10 people in the house right now (Me, bro, 3 cousins, mom, dad, grandma, grandpa, and great grandma), crowded up in here. Worst of all, our dog Socks is scared of storms, so she's scratching the carpet and hardwood up right now...

I might lose internet, so If I disappear, I didn't die ( so sad for Angry Wink )
Haha, looks like the storms from the US are moving up here. We're getting some light showers and really humid, thunder-like heat. So yeah, I think we'll be getting some legit storms later in the night. But I hate thunderstorms when its night-time. Yes, the display is spectacular but I can't sleep.

But then again, I can't sleep regardless (username pun XD)
