Random Thoughts 5 - READ RULES IN FIRST POST

Maybe you're hallucinating?
Or maybe a secret organization is watching you.
RC cars disappearing?

Truly discomforting things.

Let's remember something here: During a power outage, there is an eerie silence. With the eerie silence, I'd be able to hear the RC car motor power up to get away. I didn't hear it, and when everything lit up again, it was gone.
That's an awfully fast RC car to disappear within 2 seconds.
So you guys know how everyone has that voice in their head that they hear when they read and stuff? Well mines just turned Irish and it's really really weird.

Mine is my breathing. No, literally..
Well, today's the day of my 6th grade graduation, and I must admit, I quite excited, despite me not being fond of this school since I was in diapers, haha.

There are a couple of awards, though I don't really expect to receive any. I think there would have been a chance I would have became the valedictorian, though I think me getting lower grades in math compared to other subjects stopped me from earning it, hah.

On the topic of dressing up for it, I'll be wearing a white suit, and a nice black tie. I take it having this graduation concludes the eight years I've been attending my public school.

You sound so intelligent for a 6th Grader.

He does sounds intelligent for a sixth grader lol

Congrats dude! There's always the sense of regret of not nabbing the Valedictorian spot, but the effort you did to graduate is enough really. Good luck to your HS life(Dont know your curriculum so I might be wrong at this lol), you should be very serious about it.

I'm almost a HS Graduate (1 more year to be exact). My batch is a bit lucky: we are not part of the new K-12 program and still uses the old curriculum of the country. Sadly, one wrong move now and you'll need to finish HS in 3 more years before you can graduate...

So yeah, kuddos to me.
Im happy that i homeschool, i get to study all of the things that i like to study and i also get my training time. How long are your school days?
Mine are 8 hours. From 7:30 AM - 3:30.
Mine are from 8-3, except on Tuesdays when we get out at 2.
I'm not going to give out details; but my friend was kidnapped and just found.
Mine used to be 8 hours long from 8 till 4

Edit:Whoa thats crazy ^

She is in custody while the sex offender is being sent to our neck-of-the-woods.
What?!!? Is your friend in police custody?

They have her safe; we don't know if she was raped or not.
The axe offender is being sent back to our town.

Were they not prosecuted for kidnapping?

The guy is going to go back to our hometown and they will prosecute there.
My friend is currently in the state he lived in.
She actually had HIM pick her up; he was planing as a 19 year old when he's really a 40 year old sex offender.

Val/Sal means nothing in my school. It's based off weighted GPA, but several students abuse the hell out of that system by taking the lower level Regents classes and having perfect averages. Between Regents, Honors, and AP, even if you have a 98 in APs unweighted, you will still never get to a 100 weighted. Therefore the weight doesn't matter as much.

Our salutatorian is one such person. I didn't make top 20 even though stats for the last 2 years show I have the highest GPA when classes are taken into consideration (ie not weighting by our school's system but by difficulty as a class) because I did mediocre (mid-90s) during my first two years of high school.

anyway you'll feel regret at first but speaking from experience it's just a title usually given after college acceptance anyway and means nothing as a result.

Besides, our salutatorian couldn't get into the universities that some people not on the top 20 list did get into so that's what is important in the end. Wink

Watch out with posting about this type of stuff, there are some really young kids on here who's parents would probably not appreciate their kids asking about this type of stuff
