Random Thoughts 5 - READ RULES IN FIRST POST

So, I am starting tennis now. Workouts and tryouts have been going for about a week now, and I'm just gonna say; I REALLY, need to work on some conditioning. This is my 3rd season in tennis, 2nd at the high school level, but I'm still feeling out of shape. I have trouble running a long time, to the point that even jogging just a mile almost kills me (mostly because I run flat-footed).

Anyways, I am trying to get some cardio & conditioning done, but just running a mile and doing footwork isn't working out for me. Anybody got some suggestions of ways for me to get some cardio without feeling like I'm about to die? It would really help.
Change the way you run and do stationary bike or elliptical machine ?
Insomniac. Wrote:@"Bullying the smart kids at school": From observation, the "smart kids" often get bullied because they rub their grades in other people's faces. Humble is always good. And then there are also those times where the "smart kid" doesn't get so good on a test or whatever and then he gets a taste of his own medicine in a higher and more intense dosage

So you're saying that... gloating smart kids get bullied. And humble smart kids don't? I guess I can live with that, haha.

I could to - although it's great to meet a non-gloating smart kid XD
But you rarely even know that they're smart if they don't gloat from my experience .
Where did all the sig shops go? I haven't seen one posted in for a long time. And beywiki drafts...and stories...and testing threads, for the most part.
Anyway, I have day 3 of baseball tryouts, and I'm really nervous. Not that I'll screw up, even though I know I'll do that too, but that I will mess up on the time. Basically, we took the practice ACT (so why did my grammar school make us take the practice SAT for three years?) and that was it. Half day. So now i'm at my dads house and I'm worried that they had the tryouts earlier, even though they said 4:30. 3 hours of surfing a forum about spinning tops does that to you (Im kidding). Im actually really paranoid about everything, so frankly, I'm not surprised.
I like muffins.
There are 2-3 open ones...
Synth's is on the 2nd page, middleish.
Mine is on the 5th page... Maybe even further back...

Bleh, having a debate competition today, I am so gonna mess everything up, everyone in my team is stressed Tongue_out

Not to sound mean to an admin, but I don't have time to go to the gym when I'm a 15-year old taking college classes and playing tennis, AND my brother keeps me busy with late work for the rest of the weekend.

Also, last time I ran heel-to-toe, I dislocated my knee. Dunno how, but it happened.

Get a jump rope. Seriously.
If we're on the topic of tryouts, I'll say I'm also pretty nervous about mine. I'm trying out for softball since it's the only team sport besides football that I enjoy to play, buuuuuuut... I'm not lookin' so great. I just get so nervous whenever the head coach is around and I just do so much worse. My catching needs work, but I'd say I did pretty well in hitting/throwing :B
I got cut today Tongue_out The coach said I should play another spring sport to stay in shape. Problem is, I'm not in shape to begin with. 15 push-ups per minute and 0 chin-ups. Oh well.
Aaaaagh this sucks so much, haha. I'm fixin' to complete a Dino MegaZord collection (basically all of the Dino MegaZords, the 1993, 2010, and the new Legacy MegaZord they're releasing very soon) and I finally found a 2010 MegaZord I can afford (I already have the original and I'm planning on buying the Legacy the moment I find it). Buuuut, since I'm buying a Titanus chest piece, I'd have nowhere close to enough to even bid on it. Then of course ReproLabels for my original... but if I were able to get this 2010 MegaZord, that'd totally be priority.

Guess I'll just have to see how my sales go.

Anyways, anybody else lookin' at any of the 20th Anniversary Power Rangers toyline items? They're pretty sick, actually, the Legacy Power Morpher is pretty legit if I must say so. The FiguArts line don't look too bad, but this stuff is seriously draining mine and my parents' wallets to zero XD

EDIT: I really didn't want this on a new page (at least, it's a new page with 20 posts per page, haha) XD
I've been thinking, what if you were born on the 29th of February?
You would only have a birthday every 4 years and when you are physically 20 years old, you would actually be 5 years old.

Your birthday would just be March 1st the majority of the time, instead...
I was 2 days close to being on the 29th Tongue_out

My debate team actually made the semis today... Thing is, they made a mistake and thought we didn't qualify, but then they found out and called us, my teammates were glad we didn't make it, and I had actually guessed that we qualified. Karma was as high as my energy levels...

Essentially, if you rub it in people's faces enough times, you're gonna get it.

I don't really think intelligence is something that is necessary to "show off". You can be smart, but you don't need to let everyone see/know. I guess, its sort of a self-satisfaction kind of thing?

I mean, as oppose to sports, where you must preform and "show your skills". I think intelligence can be kept "secret".

Nope, not at all! :B I just spend a lot of time on Tumblr... Too much time on Tumblr can change a man -er woman. I know too much about Doctor Who than I ever wanted to.
Haha, same situation here actually. But I'm considering getting into the fandom. Another fandom that seems pretty cool is the homestuck one. I do a bit of snooping around to get the latest inside jokes and puns. Apparently, using them to get friends only works online *sigh*

Aside from all the cool fandoms (okay maybe except the Black Butler one - some fans are whack), tumblr is generally a great website. The whole community is so funny and cute in their own little ways, ahh >u<
Homestuck is good, yes you should read it, but boy oh boy is it long.

And it really depends on what side you're on. There are some people who can get a bit... over the top with their fandoms. I mean yeah, it's all in good fun, but is it really necessary to reblog everything with 50,000 Sherlock/Doctor Who/Supernatural gifs?
The homestuck fandom is obnoxious. I used to enjoy the comics (I loved problem sleuth) but I stopped reading for a little (around when the first game page involving karkat etc came out) and then ran into the fandom and honestly, it put me off reading much more.
Tsk, decides to post in the Random Thoughts, has to combo-break the subject [/badluckbrian]
Well ... Not that anyone here is fond of exploding Red Potions. Ohh well.

Anyway, I just felt I was too dead. Makes me think about the timer FF has for making your acc. 'available'. All too senseless. Tomorrow there'll be events regarding vocational choice in school. I don't even know what I want for a job. Great. They were posting about talents and so some posts ago.

Heh. The way I've typed so far, I'm swaying stupidly. Like a drunk man in dark alleys. Just that I think I could interact a lot more here at WBO... Well, gave my try now.

EDIT : lol Now that I've posted anyway, how about my new image? xD
Yes! My school called a snow day today! (Funny thing is, there's hardly any snow...) but I'm not complaining, I hate school!

Oh ... um ... uhh ...

Anyways, look at this cool thing. I would so want this:
Seriously a great invention because the obnoxious "HEEEEEYYY IS THIS DOOR LOCKED? WHY DONT I SHAKE THE DOORKNOB TO SEE?!?!?!" is horrible.

Adding additionally, I really need to utilize my time better. It just so happens that every time I do have some free time, I don't have the motivation to do anything. And when I am really excited to do something, I'm so overloaded with work. But with the upcoming March Break (its one week, but still great) ... hopefully some sort of story will be written Speechless
Reminds me how the library at my highschool began being locked on lunch on wednesdays, and recess every day (i.e. they locked the only accessible shelter from sun/rain/etc at lunch time once a week, and recess every day and the recess part was out of grumpiness about students or something - no one who worked at that library should have been working with kids...), and the office used to be locked at recess one day a week. Seeing as me and my friends at the time used to sit out by the library, and people who forgot their hats and got hat detention had to sit outside of the office, I was basically once or twice a week watching people walk up to a locked door, telling them it was locked this day of the week every week, pointing the sign out to them, and then watching them walk up and try to open it anyway.

It was fantastic.
What's the point in shutting it for recess when it won't be a long period of time. Especially on wednesdays when you can't go at lunch. Sounds like it was done for no reason to inconvenience students tbh.
The wednesday lunch thing was apparently a meeting or something, but why they couldn't do it at a more convenient time for students (as they must have been doing previously) was never made clear - and I did ask a few times (a pretty courageous move given the general attitude of most of our librarians).
As jaded as it may sound, they really never did make much sense with these inconveniences. Can't say I miss the place, haha.
