Random Thoughts 5 - READ RULES IN FIRST POST

(Aug. 07, 2012  4:36 AM)NoodooSoup Wrote: Have you ever just randomly craved for food that's not even that great? I mean, for the past two days all I've wanted was Taco Bell, and frankly, it doesn't rate too high on my "great fast food" list. But wow, what'd I'd do just to get myself a burrito. Ah, delicious, yet disgusting, beef-substitute, poor tortilla quality, and cheesy burrito. And a Doritos Loco Taco or whatever it's called. Looks like a heart attack in a crunchy corn shell. My kind of food.

All the time! haha

At random times I'll crave McD's fries, which isn't what I wouldn't choose to eat, but the craving comes xD
So when I got back home from Indiana, I started implementing a 1000-1250 calorie diet. For the past few days, I've been lowering my calorie intake so I could lose some weight. I mean, if I wanna perform on stage, I need to shrink my belly, right? But today, just about a few hours ago, I fell into a form of depression because of my lack of motivation to do anything. it was 1am, and I didn't want to go to sleep because I felt "the night was still young". So I talked to my best friend about it, and he told me, "It's probably because even if you're dieting, your calories are just sitting there. You need to burn that energy somehow."

Now, I'm not an exercising person, and the most I did while I was in Indiana was use the weight room. This is mostly because I find it somewhat tedious and...well, I couldn't find any entertainment in it. So while going through some Abingdon Boys School tracks, the Sengoku Basara opening "JAP" plays on my iTunes, and I'm struck with inspiration. It's been a while since I saw the video, so I went on YouTube to see if it was still there. Sure enough...

...it is. This dance played in the background of the first Sengoku Basara opening always stuck to me because of the fact that it had dancing samurais. So I tried to learn the dance a little to kill some time and burn that energy. I had a lot of fun learning the first quarter of the dance, and my depression w/ lack of motivation seemed to fade away. But it was 1:30 by the time I started doing this, so everyone is sleeping, and I was probably making a lot of noise. Thanks to this little form of depression, I found a goal: exercise by learning and practicing this dance.

tl;dr, you find motivation in the strangest of places or situations. Take advantage of every opportunity that comes to you, good or bad. It's just one road to growing up.

You beat me. I was going to post here too about the first day. My first class starts at 10:50, but as a freshman, I'm going to have to be there by 10:15 for orientation.

Wait, you're going to EWHS now right?
Since I've gotten two "WTF?" responses on this one, though I'd post it here. (Click to View)
The song is from Beyblades, yes.

No, I'd never go there. I go to Wayne Early. I already have my college ID too.

Edit: Why would I want to go to Eastern Wayne when I got accepted to WMCHS and your school?
Down with a stomach virus Unhappy
Thats gotta stink. Once, I was throwing up for 6 hours straight. Well sort of. Basically, here was half of that day in a nutshell. Barf, lay on couch, feel worse, repeat. Hope you feel better Shirayuki.
Does anyone know?
About the physical requirements for NJROTC?

Pictures from today:
Most ROTC programs will consist of a moderate physical conditioning routine.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/NJROTC#Inst...activities This touches on it a bit. Essentially, ROTCs function as a "baby's first boot camp" of sorts; you will have to do a lot of physical work in the majority of them.
What's the most non-boring stuff to do when you're waiting for a Air Parcel across the globe containing Beyblades?Grin
Thank you for reading my post.
Um, I don't know. When I was waiting for my Diablo Nemisis I just did what I would normally do, go to school, eat and sleep.
That is the best I got.

I had to read your post, because you had that awesome Avatar!Grin And it's still Summer Vacation. I guess i will just read and watch tv and play games xd
Sounds good, and thank you.
Haha, that reminds me of something before summer started xD

I am the most IMPATIENT person when it comes to packages. Now that I think about it, I'm embarrassed that I did what I did :\

During our indoor recess/free time, whenever I could get on the computer, I would secretly check eBay and track my packages. Once, I also snuck on the phone and asked my mom if my package had arrived. This was all during school.

Ginga Blader, I admire your patience haha, but I could never survive without tracking my packages every 5 mins.

Even when it was a US seller (like it always has been) I was impatient. Even when it was Expedited shipping I was impatient. I have a problem lol.
I usually try to forget about my items that are shipping; a tracked bey never arrives, eh?

You aren't the only one. I bought the proto nemesis stadium from a store for $100 when I thought saw something for it on the internet for $50.
Wait, do you have the stadium now. I need the dimensions for my Ultimate Bey Ta Stadium Draft and if you could post them in that thread, that would be great.
I'll try to measure the wall and exit length.
Thank you. Just post what the measurements were in that thread.
My stomach virus is gone, just now actually Smile
It's stormy right now. Very dark and rainy.
Does anyone know how long it will take for my package to arrive? USPS shipping from CA to NY. It says it will be deliver by August 13, and I do have the tracking number, but its a carpy Delivery Confirmation. Will I have to pick it up at the post office?

It seems to be in transit, and USPS says "Electronic Shipping Info Received."

Depends. The standard is delivery to the home, if you're home. Sometimes, if you're not home, they'll leave a slip in the mailbox and you'll have to pick it up at the Post Office listed, but they usually just drop it in front of the door (at least, in my part of NY Tongue_out ).
Oh yeAh the pacel slip... Home I am home at that time... Don't want o go pick it up XD hope it come early.
You may have to pick it up if it's Registered mail. Registered mail often means that they will hold it within a 3-day time limit if you fail to pick it up the day of delivery. If they leave you that green card, knowing the USPS, then yeah, you're gonna have to pick it up.
