Random Beyblade Anime and Manga Thoughts

I usually prefer anime's to mainly use a 1v1 format, but I do like the Team format. However, despite me liking it, I do think it comes with some fundamental problems. For example, when creating a rival, for a 1v1 series you just create a singular rival and a singular Beyblade, case closed. However, for a series that uses a team format, you need to create an entire team. A team is usually 3-4 Bladers, so you have to spend more than one dedicating time to this one team, and realistically, not every single one of this team's releases are going to be headliners. Now you don't have to do this, but giving everyone but the team leader random combos will actively devalue the members who have said combos (in my opinion). This is why I think conceptually, the Beyclub system is way better than just a standard team set up. Because a sports club will have tons of active members, so you obviously don't expect every single one to get their own spotlight. So, you can make as many (or as little) Bladers in this particular club relevant as you want, while still keeping the core organization vs organization feel.
The german dub makes Pri sound way too old. Like an over 20 year old.
Now that the Beyblade Burst series is over, how many of you all enjoyed the series? Have a favorite season and character?

I enjoyed it a lot, though some plots were admittedly half-baked and it relied too much on tournaments overall.

What I mean by half-baked is that for example Silver Eye never even got to battle despite being a high ranked member of the Snake Pit, he just disappeared.
Ashtem, the leader of Snake Pit, also never got to battle because the series wasn't too keen to focus on adult characters. And his character conclusion was very meh. Compare that to Daidoji who just couldn't let go and always returned with a new plan.

Phi was a very cool boss, but I also don't like how his final fight was yet another Tournament battle, when he was introduced as a villain destroying the world and even thought of as an alien. Then all that kind of stopped mattering, the mystery surrounding him never amounted to anything.

Chouzetsu/Turbo would still be my favorite season overall. Favorite character is between Lui and Gwyn. Lui's fierce character brought a very welcome intensity to the series and his always flaming hair is fun! And as for Gwyn, I love his design and calm personality. His Beybattles were always enjoyable to watch!
Does anyone else still think bird or Robin is the main character of beyblade x, like he has the most screen time and ekusu or jaxon had the least amount of time int he anime and the manga and he’s the main protagonist
Pri is to ambitious lol

Mine's probably Aiga just because of that one part of Rise's intro

Yep, that one caught me off guard.

I don't think they're all cannon, it seems like it's more of a homage. Having all the previous seasons cannon to each other wouldn't really make a lot of sense let alone X. The most likely might be burst but there's still some inconsistency there. My headcannon is that X is a lot more parallel to the real world where Beyblade exists as a product and all the previous seasons are shows to advertise said product.
Queen manjunfaced off againsdt every main chacrter except for zyro, if that’s not canon, I don’t know what is?

I always said Beyblade X will never be able to top Beyblade Burst but considering how long they stretched burst it's no doubt that Beyblade Burst was the best era for Beyblade for toylines. Nostalgia kicked MFB but anime wise I will have to give MFB the cake here.

Well my name kind of spoils it already but my favourite season was Season 2 Evolution and fav character Shu/Red Eye. I think Red Eye / Requiem Project really brought that flare Burst needed to go fantasy mode with the "resonance". It was the catalyst for what Season 3 was to come with it's action packed battles.

If you discount that Fubuki/Shu scene, Season 2 really felt like an actual ending for this era of Beyblade until they kept pumping seasons.
Honestly I prefer beyblade x over burst only cuz burst seemed so dragged on lol

Loved it. Season 1&2 are my favorites, and as for favorite characters, that'd be Valt Aoi.

Series was an excellent thing to keep me going for the past seven or so years. I gotta go with Free for fav character though.

Burst was pretty good overall, not too big a fan of the later seasons but I still like them. Chozetsu/Turbo would be my favorite season and Aiga would be my favorite character.
In retrospect, while I dislike Chozetsu, I believe it does have a lot of good merits despite its inconsistencies. However, I believe one of the biggest of those inconsistencies are having too many characters to juggle. By the end, almost every new character introduced becomes immediately irrelevant. To be honest there really isn't anything they could do to mitigate this given the amount of new motifs. The manga's approach works in tandem with these releases, but the anime is always going to be an expanded version of the manga.

Burst was great. Second favorite Beyblade series(Metal being my first because it's what I grew up with). Fav season and character is Turbo/Cho Z and Aiga/Aiger.

The later seasons were kinda rough at times but the ending with QS made up for it; perfect way to end a series. Burst might've had the best finale of any of the beyblade series tbh.
I hate to be that guy but having homages to the original MC Beyblades from the first generation is really cool. However, I can't help but imagine if they belonged to a group that was better fleshed out over the course of the series like the Supreme Four instead of Team Pendragon.
depends on what type of finale ur looking for lol
Hey guys! My name is Rayden and this is my first time on this page. I just started and I wanted to spit out a random burst beyblade thought. Which evolution line is cooler The Valtreak line, or the Achillies line. In my personal opinion I think the achillies evolution line is cooler personally
