Just be glad they didn’t ruin it with bad teeth or such tanks. I know they would do this because the og tempo has a tank in it’s balance due to it’s amazing shape and weight.

Who cares honestly? Remakes are really meant for collection purposes anyway so Why else do you think all remakes except Driger F have bad teeth.

Quite frankly a lot of us do care because those beys have sentimental value to us and it’s really sad to see them be nerfed so hard and not even be slightly competitive (especially when they were before the release). It might not matter to you but, it does to a lot of us.

Everyone has a resonance, Lain has flare. He can control whether Variant makes its barrier sturdy or pushes it out like how Valt can make his bey faster. Flare grows from winning, which strengthens the resonance, or bond, between him and Lucius. That makes them more coordinated.
Lain himself has above average skill and strength. His bey has unique but understandable defense mechanisms. They are just hard to beat, which you want them to be hard to beat of course. Every team has their own ways to challenge it but no one has found a way to beat it yet. You can avoid the walk dropping but then how do you get past the wall?

Vs Lui:
Lain makes Lucius push back and reform its barrier, in turn knocking away Luinor.
Vs Ranjiro:
Lain traps Ranjiro at a wall (Roktavor doesn't have much attack so it can't escape) and kept pushing into it cracked under the pressure.
Vs Silas:
Variant Wall goes head on with Triple Twister. Triple Twister doesn't manage to get through the barrier with it being a defense move and gets knocked away.
Vs Aiger:
Lucius gets knocked away, and is able to hit the Speed Cradles. Lain gets Lucius to speed up and the centrifugal force pulls out the barriers. Then It goes head on wit Achilles and overpowers it since Achilles sacrificed the attachments for speed.
Vs Hikaru and Hyuga:
Same thing as Vs Ranjiro.
Vs Shu (2nd battle):
Lucius uses Limit Break The End to land a critical hit on Spryzen without activating World Slash, and The free spin on The End Wall negates 2B's free spin which was previous used to shrink Vex Lucius' barrier.
Vs Aiger and Ranjiro:
Limit Break The End is evaded by Achilles and Roktavor but using the Storm Plate and momentum from coming down on the slope, Lucius get enough speed and power to knock out Achilles and Roktavor.
Vs Lui and Dante:
Lucius was hit in a unescapable pincer attack but in a team effort Spryzen hits Lucius from above activating The End Wall, which knocks away Luinor and Dragon which were attack on both sides.
Vs Lui:

Wait a sec. You know what I just realized? OK, people be out here complaining that Lean is defeating all the legends too early. Then we have Lui over here at the age of SIX (6!!!!) taking a national tournament. If he was 10 in Burst Season 1, his national tourney streak started when he was SIX.
Now that's a real 'prodigy' right there. Younger than Valt and Shu yet still kicking butt. And I used to think he was around the age of Free or Sisco.

Thank you for stating to toxic fanbase problem. People just hate their favorites losing and take it to the next level. Just imagine how many fan favorites Lui had beat at the time. Just think about that for a second before you fly off the rails. It's not just Lui probably done this type of thing either. Point is, imo, Lean doesn't deserve all the hate he gets. Sure, the anime makes him very questionable, but oh 'Lui just lost to Lean, I hate this series' is a bit extreme.
Why I slap Garland in the OG Big Five lol cause... I mean he basically beated Tala. He matched blow for blow to Kai. He almost could have beated Tyson with just raw power
