I can say for certain that Burst Season 1 at the very least is very overrated. Just normal generic school kids going to multiple tournaments. I don't hate it but they aren't doing anything new.

As they say, there's nothing new under the sun. Everything has been done. It's all in the execution, and Burst did a simply fantastic job in its execution. So I'd disagree with it being overrated. It's earned it's praise.

Season 1 of Burst is like, bottom of the barrel generic. They don't have to make a masterpiece but school kids going to tournaments has been done so many times and is the most generic you can get.

Also that time in the 2nd tournament when Rantaro and Valt were supposed to go full power was just terrible lol. Like they got us hyped both parties where gonna do something but no just same old battle.
