Yup, I also loved reading the mfb manga and if I recall, the heavy weight of basalt overpowered the spin steal. I believe Faust wasn’t actually Toby in the manga but as you said his own character. Toby is an anime only character.

yea basalt heavyness was what overpowered do i steal . correct about faust not being Toby in fact for the none manga reader who Doesn't know faust is the true mastermind of the spiral force thing . he was the one who had direct relationship with doji and was preparing rago's revival while ziggurrat was the crazy scientist.  faust was manipulative and just overall one of the best villain.  I also like Damian backstory in the manga better cause it's more flesh out which also made ziggurrat way more vile person Damian was a good kid but ziggurrat experiment on him so much that he broke Damian mind .which made his match with gingka great cause gingka saw Damian was actually a good kid and fought to bring the true him back which he succeed Damian was redeemed at the end . while ryuga was dealing with faust . they did them better in the manga imo.

as someone who read the mfb manga faust was immune to ryuga absorbing ability ryuga saw it and had to take it more serious.  in fact manga faust who by the way is own character is stronger the anime faust they guy is pure evil and cunning in the manga too which made him fun unlike the anime version  .

no. It only invovles luck. I do a batch battle (all my 85 beys) go in teams of 5. Then whatever team wins, fight agaisn't itself. They all split up and whoever wins that wins the whole thing. Destructor l drago happended to win that today. I was offline from Wbo and studying for a 45 minutes break because of that/........

in my case I just have the comics back in the day of metal saga my mom bought them for me just like my comics and preserve them as a collectionnist.   but I don't where you kind read them these days . oops nvm ryuga's son give you a link lol

You know, I wonder how super heavy weight would prevent Meteo L-Drago from spin stealing in the anime/manga? Like with the 230 track, it makes sense, hardly anything to latch onto and such. With Nemesis I took it as the sheer power itself rather than weight. I assume Basalt Horogium is the same case, it has power to resist spin stealing, because otherwise I was never sure how, since L-Drago can just latch onto it's metal wheel, which has no free spinning or super special components.

Does the "Spiral Staircase Of Death" in the Basalt wheel even play a role in the manga? Because it doesn't in the anime from what I remember, and I could see that being how it resisted spin steal, because it spins in such an irregular way I suppose, if I could implement it in the anime.

As for my favourite MFB season, Metal Masters is my favourite one, it is the most entertaining one and the cast we got is overall the most memorable and fun ones. Metal Fury is my least favourite, it's not that it's bad, but the characters introduced are kinda boring overall and it's not as fun IMO. The upside is the development Kenta got with Ryuga though, so hey.

I don't think that heavy weight is the reason. If it was, then Ryuga couldn't win against Damian and Takafumi Adachi has already told that Ryuga is stronger than Damian. I think it's something to do with the irregular pattern on the fusion wheel/spin track of Twisted Tempo.
