he got it after the world championship although it's a team battle which of course crowned the strongest and best team it also crowned the best blader as well apparently but it kind of make sense  i guess gingka did defeated the strongest bladers of each team (except kyouya which was a tie) . but Julian,  dashan, Damian did get beaten by him and they were defently top 4 not counting ryuga and Faust.  their was never a 1 vs 1 world champion but he  generally got mostly cause he beats the strongest the world had to offer and save the world ect but not by like tournament rules so his #1 In the world is very questionable.

I mean if Ryuga could just stand agaisn't half of nemesis power's then he could defeat almost half of the world's bladers by himself, because it took gingka all the world's bladers to barely defeat nemesis
