yup in metal fury ryuga both help gingka and kyoya although both guys claimed the know their beys which was proven false cause ryuga was schooling them for using their as if it's still galaxy and rock which was true . ryuga saw the strength and potential of cosmic/big bang and fang that's the reason why he was getting piss they were wasting their beys power the scene with gingka finally realizing had mode change and ryuga counter it by using his mode change wasn't cause ryuga felt his going to lose he did to showed how you actually use a mode change when gingka foolishly attack straight on ryuga calm him a fool cause he still haven't figure out how to use new Pegasus.  which again was correct both kyoya and gingka finally understood it later on respectively in their match against Johannes while the other against dashan.

Actually Shu never abandoned Fubuki or Boa (although Boa was never his student). Fubuki didn’t want to be under Shu’s shadow and so he left to become his own Blader.
