Wait so if Ryuga is part Dragon then does that mean that so is Ryuga’s brother?
Random Beyblade Anime and Manga Thoughts

Ahh, the nonsensical madness of fantasy anime.
I have a theory. If Ryuga and Reji are both possessed, doesn't that mean that Reji has animal genes as well? So Reji might have snake/basilisk genes, while Ryuga has dragon genes. They both lived in the same clan, as dragons and snakes are both lizards. Ryuga was a smart and adventurous prince, but Reji, Ryuga's aide, was cruel. Reji, being Reji, attempted to kill Ryuga, but Ryuga brought Reji down with him. Both were buried, and Doji used their DNA to create clones of them in the 21st century. Ryuga was the same as his past life, smart and adventurous, but Doji needed an evil person, so Ryuga was kicked out, and adopted the name Ryuto. Reji was cruel, so Doji created the modern Ryuga w/ a mix of Reji and ancient Ryuga's DNA, and the reason he went crazy in season 1 was that his DNA was impure/not fully dragon. Well, whatever.

That couldn't be more true. Like how in the heck did he get on the Spiral Force tower? How'd he get to Nemesis before the other Legendary Bladers? Maybe he can fly, but we just don't see it.

One of my favorite part about Ryuga in metal master was he freaking launch L-drago from the chore to the middle of the ocean where the spiral force is floating then the next scene his on the spiral force I was like bruh so you were just flexing on how strong your launch is huh lol

It’s quite obvious really. When you are a protagonist, you are trying to make the audience understand what this character is made of. Two protagonists, Hikaru and Hyuga have been introduced. You would expect BOTH characters to at least have some sort of development, but nope, the writers clearly don’t care. To make it simple, you people need to stop getting triggered. I don’t just “hate” Hikaru, I also “hate” Hyuga. And yes, as you notice I put quotes around the term “hate” because clearly you guys don’t know what criticism is. Before you continue to pull that, “this is a plot armor” stuff out of your nose, keep in mind that I clearly don’t care. When it comes to Hikaru’s character, let’s be honest, what has he done successfully besides beating rantaro? “Oh but he scored a point from free and won a battle with valt, along with winning against lane while working together with Aiger”. Great, now here is the issue. All of those stuff that he has “done” wouldn’t have been possible without the help of Aiger and valt. Without them, he would have been screwed, don’t you think. Let’s look at the battle with Lui. You notice how he easily lost to “raging upper”, yeah pretty pathetic. “Oh but Lui is a legend, of course Hikaru wasn’t going to win”. My issue is not Hikaru losing, my issue is the way he loses, which he loses so easily to the point where if the writers are portraying him as a horrible character, what is the problem with me criticizing the kid? You would have thought that Hikaru would at least shown some development in his second battle with Lui. Nope, “RAGING UPPER!!!!” And he bursts. Great development right? Like seriously, what development are you talking about? Him having blue flaming hair that we already saw in that “free and Hyuga vs Valt and Hikaru” battle? The writers couldn’t have let Hikaru lose with a ring out finish? The kid lost so easily for crying out loud. Then you have a Hyuga who basically gets lucky with his wins for no reason. News flash, at least Hyuga (FOR SOME REASON) survived Lui’s raging upper. Hyuga bursted Dragon (DESPITE HIM LOSING THE OTHER TIMES AS HE SHOULD) and won a battle against 5 legends? Are you serious now? Might as well give Hyuga a legend blader title next, and while you are at it, give Hyuga Aiger’s champion belt. I’m tired of that kid going “Zoom Zoom”, no, “Zoom Zoom” his way out of the battle stadium and “Zoom Zoom” onto his bey and HOPE IT BREAKS. I wouldn’t be suprised if Hyuga some how bursts Lui by using his obnoxious screaming. Why should I respect this series? Give it until episode 100 where Hikaru will probably not suck and beat only 1 person while Hyuga will finally stop getting so lucky with his winning streak and finally understand what it means to be a blader? Until something happens, Hikaru is horrible at blading, Hyuga is also horrible, and annoying. The only reason I’m even watching this at this point is to see who breaks first.
Took you 10 years to give your explanation, just like how you long you think it'll take Hikaru to win. Funny. It is true that he lost by a burst yes, but it still was a tag battle and he was already weakened by Drum if anything. That could be taken into account. Still, it's not like he's completely horrible, but I can see where you're coming from. Hyuga doesn't really get lucky, he just has a greater bond and resonance with Hyperion which helps him here and there. He has the same problem as Valt did: consistency. I cab still see why you complain though.
Just that it took way too long for the legit explanation from you.
If Hyuga really resonated with his bey, the authors are clearly doing a bad job portraying that. It takes more than “Zoom Zoom” for someone to have completely resonate with their bey. It’s basically saying that Aiga with his corruption has completely resonated with his bey. I don’t know what you’re watching, but please put your glasses on buddy. Thanks 🤓

Funny how I am wearing glasses lol. I know he does say "zoom zoom" a lot, but there have been a few times when he's actually talked and connected to Hyperion, more often than Hikaru at least.
Even you can't ignore that.

We are all aware that Hikaru doesn’t resonate often. He probably doesn’t even know what that term means. Or perhaps his Helios is always asleep. Lmao. But to say Hyuga resonating with his bey is a result of his victories is really pathetic. Hyuga is simply a beginner, and while he resonated with his bey, that doesn’t explain his random wins Against legendary bladers. It’s just pure luck. I understand Hyuga is your favorite character for some reason, but saying he “fully resonated” when he is clearly a new blader who has no idea what he is doing, is laughable.

Lol, assuming he's my favorite character. A bold statement with my pfp and description. I'm just stating my opinion and saying that he can win here and there, no guarantee you're going to win every battle, even if you are a legend. He is in the A rank after all, but we have different opinions. Nothing wrong with that.
Also, he's "fully resonated". Funny. Tell that to Aiga back in Cho-Z.

Did I ever state anything about development of character? No. Did Aiga have a high level of resonance for a beginner? Yes. He still resonates and talks to his bey like everyone else ironically, if you can't see. Anyway, this discussion is getting too personal.
I have a real question for you. Why is your name Phengpegasus? Is he your favorite character or did you just pick it out of random? If he is your favorite character then why?
I mean, Pot barely did anything in GT, even I would've like to see more. He only got a point off of Amane and Drum but I guess stamina types are underrated in the anime smh. Especially GT.

Lol, I’ll admit, Rantaro has some skill, but he is still weak no matter how you try to word it. Amane at least managed to beat Arthur using hyper flux, but he lost so many times during that series. Most likely that’s what Hikaru will become during this series. Another useless Amane though the beginning and middle, and then become somewhat useful at the end. Either way, they should know their place.
I apologize for the dull people on here who believes I’m “trolling” just because I’m basically criticizing characters. If that’s what your feeble mind believes, then by all means, go ahead. Lmao. But that is honestly your problem. You can’t blame me for having high expectations for some characters. If they are going to be portrayed as main protagonists, then the authors need to do a better job. And saying that it’s too early to judge is highly subjective. Once again, I’m not expecting Hikaru to win all the time, heck I wouldn’t care if he loses more than win, but at least show that you got some development. And if you are telling me that he is going to constantly lose with a simple burst just to have his bey break (which I’m hoping happens because his weakness disgusts me), what’s the point of all of that so called “resonance” or “bonding with his bey”? What, so he can learn to bond better with his potentially new bey and start all over again? This doesn’t add up. And I’m hoping Hyuga’s lucky clover streak comes to an end soon. They really making the legendary bladers look like complete tools with him around.
