One day they showed the behind-the-scenes and we discovered that voice actors had to work with rolling banners of paper, telling them how long they were supposed to scream for, and I do not even think that they had the show playing on a television as well to get an idea of the character's energy while saying that. The voice actors were, no offense, not that good either, but for sure they were directed horribly as well.
They had the show running on a television below the rythmo band (the rolling banners of paper actually a clear band of 35mm which is projected) as shown on the behind the scenes (the participating VAs were clearly not actually recording scenes but rather staging it to show fans how it worked) here is a picture from Aiyanne Mizuhara's http://beybladejapanese-vs-dub.blogspot.co.uk showing this

I also watched the behind the scenes as well as corresponding episodes just to check as I was sure there was indeed a television with the show running at the same time, however as stated before as it was staged as it wasn't the correct scene timing being shown (close with Alex's and Marlowe's however). Also the lines the VAs said in the behind the scenes weren't the final takes in their corresponding episodes (the final takes of said lines sounded better).
