Random Beyblade Anime and Manga Thoughts

I didn't hate it, but it could have been so much better. I was hoping they'd give him a deeper voice(and imagined Steven Blum doing it, which would be awesome) but the second he uttered a word, I was surprised at how high pitched it was, especially considering his appearance doesn't match it at all. It only got good near the end of the episode when he realized his true power.
I agree, in Battle B-Daman Steven Blum did a great Cain voice and I think it suits Chris.
Chris sounds so screwed up.

I was expecting a deep voice character ..
I think I'm the only one here who thinks Chris has an excellent VA. The first line of his was alright, but the rest of his lines for this episode sounds so awesome. IMO, I think it fits him perfectly. The one voice I wish they could've done better is Ginga's voice. in Metal Fusion, Daidoji's voice kept changing, and THAT was annoying.
I don't watch B-Daman, but I looked up a clip on Youtube and I agree. Steven Blum would have been much better.

I didn't like Gingka's voice at first, but after hearing it for almost 3 years I've gotten used to it.
EDIT: Hopefully he'll have a deeper voice in Shogun Steel.
Chris's voice was ok, but it was a bit to gravel-y (if you know what I mean), and I don't think it suited the character.
I actually think Masamune has a good VA.
Chris's voice was awfully similar to Ryuga's for some reason. Does anyone know if it's the same VA?

My brother thought the same thing. I agree that when he got aggressive in the episode and started yelling, he sounded alot like Ryuga. But actually his voice has begun to grow on me a bit because of the way it sounds near the end of the episode. I wonder what it will sound like in the next episode, as many characters voice change in pitch or tone after the first episode.

On a different note, I love Orion's special move, but I wish they'd show what's actually happening with the Beys instead of just using the beasts. Like, what is Orion actually doing when it does Barnard's Loop?
Glowing...I think its like Gravity Control. The beyblade itself doesn't really do anything besides creating the move, but then the move itself pretty much does the rest.
Tithi's english voice sounds outrageously familiar to me... I like it and it fits him, but where have I heard that voice before?
Edit: Wait, I think I remember now... I'll have to do a comparison first though.

Was it Mariah from the Beyblade 1st series by any chance? Thats how I hear it.

NOTE TO OTHER PEOPLE: If it doesn't sound like Mariah to you them don't go calling me deaf and say "Ooo it doesn't sound like her at all"
Tithi's English voice is surprisingly good to me. It fits the character's age and persona almost perfectly. Its kindof cute, actuallyCute.

Yeah I noticed that. The English voice is great for the character. I was surprised after hearing Chris's voice.
King's voice in the English dub irritates me like no other.

Really? I like it, its really good to me.
It bugs me. Sometimes it sounds sort of British, or something near British, and sometimes it doesn't. It doesn't really fit the character in my opinion.
Haha agreed. I definitely wouldn't have paired a voice like that with his personality; I was actually pretty surprised when I heard it for the first time.
And that you mention it, it does sound like he has some sort of semi-accent.
Damn, Rago's voice is so weird. So is the guy with Beelzebub! The newest episode was really good. I can't believe Doji is back.
Yea Rago's was wierd, but he said so little I couldn't really judge it. It sounded cool for the few lines he had, though. I do like the bug guy's(what IS his name?) voice because it actually sounds like a kindof fly-man. Hershcel's voice is decent but nothing special. Cycnus'(did he say Cucnus?) said too little judge.

His name is Keyser.
I have recently discovered that in Sket Dance there is a beyblade's characters cameo

Wait...who are those two guys in the background? Awh, hi Takao and Gingka! Grin
Wow, those two definitely look too much like Ginga and Takao for that to be a mere coincidence. Are the character designers the same who made Beyblade or what ?

Mh probably not Kai-V, but I don't know with certainty. Sket Dance was seen on Japanese TV between 2011-2012, so this is probably only a tribute to beyblade made for the anime version, I really don't know if the same happens in the manga
The resemblance is pretty uncanny. Was there any reason why they would include characters from Beyblade though? Because it's usually pretty obvious when someone has a cameo in anime...
Not necessarily, very often cameos are only hidden tribute, but in this case who knows. They are more usual than you think, for example:

Or the famous case of "Attacker YOU!" where some people in the stands have similarities with Hokuto no Ken, or also the almost ubiquitous Dragon Ball cameos that are in many anime.
