What was the general community reaction on WBO when it was announced that Beyblade was returning? Or, should I say, the general reaction on Beywiki? Or what about BBSpirit for that matter? (Because I don't know when that site actually died) Did Takara just come out of nowhere and release the first four, or were they announced long in advance? Were members importing like crazy? Was there a spike in member registrations like when the series got localized? Was the general reaction positive or negative? Was it even surprising?
Questions about the WBO
That will be something to really detail in the WBO Book, but we definitely got news of it months before the first few releases. We all got excited and we did get several more registrations, but nothing like when Hasbro later distributed it worldwide. There were some importations, yes. The reaction was of course highly positive, even if there were of course eternal negatives who wished plastics and HMS had been continued or whatever, especially when it was shown that the manga and anime would have nothing to do with Takao, Kai, etc.
Beyblade Spirit definitely died when Cyber Tiger Anime, our host, shut down, and I think that was perhaps around 2009.

I remember getting on BBSpirit a little for the manga and just general exploring of the site, it was up until at least 2010.

I forgot we were even doing a book.

That's good at least. Correct me if I'm wrong, but when Beyblade was canceled the first time, Takara did say that it was just hibernating, right? Did that happen again the second time?
Exactly, they announced a hiatus right after HMS, and nothing this time.

Oh, that's actually quite terrifying for the sake of this hobby. Weren't sales down at the time as well? Considering that even the anime and manga didn't get proper endings, it's becomes possible that the series was canceled entirely (Although I doubt it, Beyblade is a cash cow at the start of each generation, and the fact that its roots are a traditional Japanese game probably helps with that.)
Of course, that could also lead to the possibility that the series is neither canceled or on hiatus, but that Takara just wanted more time for production. Maybe Zankye was right?
Was there any kind of message given at the end of the last episode of Zero G, or the last chapter of the manga?

Didn't they say that they would be on a hiatus until the new series was released in 2017? Granted it was Hasbro and not Takara-Tomy, but that has to count for something, right?
Where are you getting that year from? We know that the team who worked on the Beyblade anime is working on a Gatchaman reboot slated for 2017, but there hasn't been any news on Beyblade revolvingt around that year.

Nothing has been announced about a hiatus by anybody.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but the only thing that Hasbro said at the New York Toy Fair was that they didn't have any new releases planned for this year. They never said that they were done.

Wait, so does that mean what Zankye stated earlier turned out to be false? I thought it was supposed to be 2018 for Hasbro, so probably sometime in 2017 for Takara-Tomy.

Zankye is a kid running a YouTube channel. If he says something, it's only a rumor until we receive official confirmation from Takara or Hasbro.
Zankye has official sources ... I also do not see how what I wrote in relation to no company having announced a hiatus meant that Beyblade returning was false ... On the contrary.
If the case is it doesn't return until 2017 or later, it could be a small teaser, perhaps? Seems too early, but anything is possible.
All we know is that Hasbro plans to develop something Beyblade-related for 2018, but that does not mean that TAKARA-TOMY cannot run a toyline or even sub-toyline meanwhile to build up hype.
does the wbbo has a personal bey fixer
If anyone else was online, did you see the MyBB error for the past 15-20 minutes?
I had a damn maintenance yesterday for an hour.
Our developper was working on upgrading some parts of our server, so technically there should be some improvements around the site. In fact, if people who were experiencing private messaging issues earlier could try it again, that would help.
I've made a signature that I want to use, but everytime I try to Update my sig, it says that users with less than 10 posts cannot put links on their profile. I followed the myCode from the help section, but that doesn't work either. Please help!

You only have 7 posts?

Hasbro is always like a year or two behind what Takara's putting out.

I think that's what most of us are expecting. Hasbro/animation studio (not Nelvana, but I can't remember who it was) will probably take a year or two to modify/localize the toys and show.
Hmmm...once the BB Burst have been released how long do you think it will be til it becomes WBO's main format?
MFB vs BBB Obviously seems unlikely xD
I don't expect any definite answers but a rough guess maybe?
