Questions about the WBO

I wouldn't talk to a mod like that. And it seemed to me like she was trying to be helpful.

And, just to let you know, Beywiki is a branch of the WBO. BeybladeWikia is the site you are probably referring to.

EDIT:Beaten by Tri
Cool then Einstein MS, you have stated enough times already that you dislike this site, so be gone ...

~Mana~, what I wrote was really just a joke, it was a light comment. By the way, nothing we can manually do will improve the SEO, that is just an unfair advantage Wikia has, so no, having articles out super quick would not have made much of a difference at all.

I couldn't have said it better myself. That comment made by Kai-V (and many others) is the REASON I'm leaving WBO and moving to BeyWiki (because that's where all the nice, kind and not to mention polite moderators and beybladers go)

And as for B-Dapedia, can I help? I am a B-Dafan too and can't wait for the re-release in 9 months!
Just to remind you; Beywiki is the WBO's Wiki. BeyWiki, even with the capitalisation, is still their Wiki. If referring to our Wiki on Wikia, use Beyblade Wiki, or Beyblade Wikia.

Even so, I'm not condemning the WBO as bad at all; it's a brilliant community, but the attitudes towards Beyblade Wiki are utterly appalling, especially when you consider that we have rules in place to prevent anything bad being said about the them. But I guess it's the competitive aspect of it in the end; the WBO wants to become the top site for Beyblade on the internet, while we aim to do what we enjoy: creating an "encyclopedia" about Beyblade.

I do not think you should quit though. While we have our debates like this, Kai-V, Hazel, Kei, everyone here are great people, and I think they've done well with the site in general.

Well, perhaps, but I would be inclined to believe that was because of linking, specifically Navboxes. Regardless, the WBO does appear above us in some searches. If you just search "Beyblade" on Google, the WBO appears above us there.

And I apologise; I didn't see it as a joke.
By the way, I want to make it clear that Einstein MS/[deleted] did not get banned for speaking against us and for Beyblade Wikia instead or anything : ever since he joined, he has gotten on everyone's nerves here by criticisng everything about this site and saying that basically anything is better. He was a huge jerk in the Event Proposals forum too where he had not even read the two instances that say that that sub-forum is only for tournaments you want to host yourself ...

But really, ~Mana~, I did not actually think you were serious about your first comment, so I was simply "poking" at Hasbro's wariness of officially affiliating with anything or anybody. You know, they have problems with us too.
Well, I have applied, in which I mentioned our site, and briefly mentioned here as well and the tournaments that are held. They did say they were interested in both sites, but since I don't run the WBO, I could only concentrate on Beyblade Wiki. They stayed positive, but this is a matter that has to be taken up with "the big guys", so it's just pending. I can't see it happening at all, as nice as it would be though.

Ah, not to take your conversation off track, but the Wikia is like, two links above us, and keep in mind, this is separated by a page on Google, but this is closer to the beginning of the first page when searching "beyblade" than ever for us.
Google results' orders vary from person to person, and even from country to country, which explains the discrepancies.
Still, that is generally a great thing, considering where we were in times before this ...

Bah, when Beyblade was dead, we were among the very top results, hah.
You can't make it bold. It becomes bold if you organize a WBO sanctioned event.
Kai-V, Litzky PR is the company that deals with Beyblade marketing for Hasbro. Has anyone from the WBO ever contacted them about possible opportunities to promote?
Is it actually possible to do to different things on this site at the same time, using two different devices?(Not that I want to do this or anything, I'm just wondering)
Yes , it worked for me .
Multiple simultaneous sessions are not possible, as far as I know; whichever one you log into most recently on will log you out on the other one.
Really ?
But it worked via both my DSI & Laptop simultaneously ... :L
That is odd, then; any time I had tried to multiclient a single account it would boot the other one off.

It may just boot one if the ISP or IP are different(which was the case in my attempt forever ago; I used the WBO to test my connection while configuring a router).
Ah , that makes sense . 'cause if it wasn't possible from the same IP/ISP , then my next question would've been how you can have several tabs open of the WBO at once on the same device , even on safari , google chrome , etc.

...that next question wouldn't have made any sense, because you're logged in on that device; a second device would need to log in separately regardless. Multiple tabs are not multiple sessions, or even a remotely similar thing, at all.
hazel does have a point that is very peculiar
I browse the WBO on my mobile while my computer is on and the WBO is up, quite often, if that means anything. Both through mobile net and Wifi.
I browse on my iPad and computer alternately, it's fun, read and type...
It's possible to log in via two different accounts.I've done it.
I guess it was Instrumental in the Scavenger Hunt-the Find The Face contest, where someone found out where it would be,and posted.
Well,that apart,
I'm not able to report posts on my mobile.
It wasn't such an issue as I used to tell that the thread wasn't needed. But Hazel's post in the HMS Compact closed thread made me feel like an irresponsible member

But I was just wondering if having two tabs of the WBO open on two separate browsers on the same device at the same time would work - anyway , the question is pointless now , since it seemingly works no matter what ...
