Yes, everyone here is working on the site for free in their own free time, so it would be unreasonable to expect one person to pay the monthly hosting fee as well as the numerous domain names out of their own pocket.

Yeah man they just pull site hosting, service, upgrade fees for a gigantic forum and the prizes for competitions and reimbursements to hosts and all the other neat stuff they're working on and do every so often out of their bey-spirit powered infinity wallets and then go to sleep on piles of children's spinning top site revenue money after driving home in their children's spinning top site revenue funded ferrari's. That's when they aren't taking holidays in the children's spinning top site revenue funded private jetline or out on the children's spinning top site revenue funded cruise liner. Also, the ETA on the children's spinning top site revenue funded ICBM's and private army equipment is about 2 years, it's easy to get stuff fast tracked with all of that children's spinning top site revenue they embezzle and soon it'll be world domination through children's spinning top site revenue. There's even been enough to expand the Justice 5 aka the Committee to the Justice 6 recently. I'm not supposed to spoil the mystery but Blader DJ's real identity is actually Boris, who was transported to the real world with proprietary technology, the research for which was funded entirely though children's spinning top site revenue.

But why do you need to buy some "passport" to play? I'd prefer either free tournaments or just pay to enter. Then it wouldn't feel like you're apart of some league (mind you that league is unofficial, so it means nothing) and it doesn't exempt you from payin anyways.

It seems like another item you need to bring to the tournament.

Did you even read the first paragraph of the Passport Page?:

To enter most WBO tournaments, you will be asked to pay an entrance fee to help recover costs and to help the WBO keep running tournaments and cool contests! However, you can completely bypass all entry fees if you have a Blader Passport!

Not only that, You'll be able to join some exclusive things, like Giveaways and what not. Read before asking,

Do you read what you write ? Nowhere is it written that you have to purchase a Blader Passport to participate in our tournaments : you can also just pay the five-dollar entry fee everytime. However, if you are in an area where there are many events, then it is much more worth it to only pay ten dollars for the whole year. Either way, it is totally up to you, and almost everything th!nk has written was obvious sarcasm anyway, so I do not know what your point about "The thigs you write are the reason people leave the WBO by the way." hah. Really, if you come here just to get Beyblades but that you otherwise hate the whole site, I have no idea why you must remain here right now.

Fine by me, I mean, I had to host a tournament in my area to get enough people together and get one going (or more, for the benefit of others in my area - I've never been big on competition, and I must give major credit to the local team (who I think are inactive now) for getting some cohesion in the community to make it happen) but if you can get to tournaments without the WBO then more power to you, I mean hey, you gotta enjoy that kinda thing before the children's spinning top site revenue funded New World Order takes over, cos then it'll be modest entry fees just for picking up a launcher!

I know both Ultra and I are into plastics but trust me, we're not the same person.

They were the most suitable candidates for the job. They were all active within those forums, showed excellent knowledge of the rules, actively reported rulebreaking posts, and were great examples of good behaviour (well, at least for a long enough time before their promotion to show they could be trusted and were reliable).

@[deleted]-I don't understand why you have so much problem with the WBO's ingeniously crafted passport system-
On 26th May 2012,I paid US$10-about 550 Indian Rupees.
Upto today-I've participated in about 20 official WBO tournaments.
Imagine if I had to pay $5 for each of the 20 tournaments-that would be 100 USD-something I couldn't certainly afford.
Just recently,I won a Giveaway-A bey twice the amount of the passport I purchased.
So it's a good option to buy a Passport.If you still don't like it,well....

For the first question, the FAQ and the Face Collection pages in the Help section will definitely give you answers.

As for your second question, being a very good Member who follows the Rules well and reports bad posts properly helps, but you should generally know that it is the Committee who chooses Moderators, and that will only be done if there is a need for new staff and if you seem really fit for the job. Usually, "Don't try too hard" is the best advice we can give you.

This has been happening everyday-people make accounts and threads for example-Selling Fresh CVs,blah,blah,blah.
That's one point-the WBO is being a victim of spam.
can't something be done to stop it,cause usually,they just copy-paste the same thing.
Also,those users get banned-and like everyday they make accounts-that makes it about 360 useless accounts.So it would be worthless reaching 80k+ users.
Can't anything be done?

Spam BOTS, as far as I know can't be rid of completely. You can install a bunch of plugins for the site they still get through.

We are too big to avoid attention now, hah. As Tri (o)o mentioned, we already have a lot of plugins to try and counter some of those account creations, but it is something that nobody can ever just get rid of, in our circumstances.

When someones username is grey does it mean that they have been given a warning, and banned for a certain period of time?
