Threads get closed because they've either broken one of the rules or are unnecessary. Some people don't show up as online because they have the "Hide me from the Who's Online List" setting checked off, which can be accessed through "My Settings" and "Edit Options".

Next time don’t say thank you, like their post (that’s the point of it, and if you look at community posts it says to avoid Frivolous posts like thank you). I’m just quoting you just to tell everyone else don’t take it personally.

Ok!
I- did you not read what they just said? They said to avoid posts like thanks, ok, and stuff like that. No one-worders or phrases. Have content in your posts. This isn’t a chat room.
On the last page of the closed threads forum, there are threads that say the last person to post on it is a guest, but when I click on the thread, it says no such thread exists, what is going on?

Yeah, and the thing is, some of those threads don't even have the lock to show that they are closed.
I don't know anything about coding or web design, but I was wondering if at some point you might consider adding a way for users to delete their own posts?
I was thinking it could work in a similar way to reports (where you would flag your own post for deletion, maybe including a reason why as well). This would make it so that people wouldn't have to report their own posts to have them be removed, and would (to some degree) reduce the number of posts being reported, allowing staff to focus on the more relevant flagged posts.

You have to put the @ symbol inside the apostrophes, right before the username.
“Theacknight

So I guess you do use the @ symbol outside of the apostrophes. Apologies about that.

ROB, you’re teaching the wrong ones. It’s the quotation marks. Naman, if you go to “.?123” and press and hold on the quotation marks, it’s the ones at the middle bottom. ""

They are the ones that I used to @ people with. They may look different to other people though. I’m not sure.
