Questions about the WBO

Thanks!

You cannot get two Credits for hosting in one tournament, if that is what you meant.

Tamer Brad was his original username. There was probably a time before those changes were monitored.

(Jun. 19, 2014  4:18 PM)RagerBlade Wrote: What were the names of those events?

AN04: Tag Beybattle Revolution
AN05: Grand Battle Tournament
AN08: BEYBLADE'S NOT DEAD!
AN09: BEYBLADE WAR ROOM
AN10: BEYBLADE REVIVAL CUP
AN11: BEYBLADE CRUSADE
AN12: BEYBLADE CRUSADE 2
AN13: BEYBLADE REVOLUTION: WBO North American Championship
AN14: GRAND BATTLE TOURNAMENT 2: WBO North American Championship 2014

As you can see, there was a gap between '05 and '08 because OtC had closed and nobody else stepped up to take over while Brad was inactive (for the most part), and the community in general was fragmented across several different sites in the second half of 2005 and part of 2006 until Beybladeforums.com, and subsequently, Beywiki came around in 2007.
Was that a tag team tournament?

I'm not sure how that one worked, actually. I wasn't there.
Yes, I can testify that it was at least planned as a tag team format, where instead of what I proposed in the team battle topic, the winner in each of the first two rounds (if each team has a win so far) fights the other in the third BeyBattle.
It's really awesome that the WBO has been blading since I was in Pre School! I am amazed to part of a community active this long!

I know I wouldn't get two credits, though I did hear that you can receive one more from hosting an event. I'll be co-hosting an event with LMAO this Sunday, so would he be the one receiving the one extra credit, or will we both?
Uwik would probably be the best person to answer you, but it would depend exactly how much each co-host did.

I really like this idea and feel that we should look to make some tournaments in this format, for a fun twist on things. At least we can try it with some unofficial tournaments first.
how come sometimes in the online user list in the main index even though sometimes there are five members it says that there are currently 6 members? just curious
Members can make themselves invisible.

I am going to Poland for a month, and want to see if there are any bladers there, and although I've seen no members from Poland, I'd like to see if any are hanging around and would be interested in a tournament. The only thing is that I'll only be in Poland for a bit, and I'm not sure when I will next return, but it could be for a couple of years. Should I make a thread?
Why isn't Mr Takafumi Adachi's Birthday shown on the calendar?

Quite obviously because he doesn't own an account on this forum, hah.

Is it his birthday? I actually never knew that, haha.
Oh, sorry, I didn't know it was only for the members. I thought it would be for all Beyblade events.

Yes, it's his Brithday today.

Yes sure, because someone there could take your lead even after you leave.
So when is the next Beyblade Giveaway??? Isn't it monthly?
Is Blitz gonna get demoted? He's obviously gone so...
He was on as recently as the 15th though.

It really seem like he does anything though.
We were crossing our fingers, but I suppose it did have to be done ...
Why don't we separate Plastics and HMS into their own section?
It's kind of annoying seeing a new post on a Plastics forum be bumped down by something about Limited, and then people are less likely to reply to what-you-wrote.
Just a compact section under Beyblade General maybe?

Did as in has already been done? Wow. Just checked and answered my own question... Wouldn't it be fair to leave him and now that I think about it hazel as advanced members as a way of just kind of honoring everything they have done for the community over the years?
