Purchase Consultation (MFB + Burst)

(Apr. 23, 2018  4:25 AM)Dragunix Wrote: I'm sorry for double-posting, but...I just really want this question answered quickly since MFB seems a bit more pricey than it once did (??)

Out of beat lynx, death quetzalcoatl, and flash sagittario, what should I prioritize when buying them? I'm trying to find a bey that has a good metal wheel for attack, but while
flash seems to be the most solid choice, beat and quetzalcoatl seem to have a greater selection of competitive parts...
or should I

- get all 3 plus an LR launcher

or

- save for Cho-Z RBV 10?

links btw (I need some help confirming...):

LR Launcher: https://www.ebay.com/itm/TAKARA-TOMY-BEY....l4275.c10

Death Quetzalcoatl: https://www.ebay.com/itm/Clearance-Takar...3.l4275.c1

Beat Lynx: https://www.ebay.com/itm/Takara-Tomy-Bey....l4275.c10

If you’re trying to first get into MFB then the order of purchase I'd say is:

L/R Launcher (you can get a better deal if you buy a Takara Tomy Gravity Perseus bundle since it comes with the LR launcher and I guess Gravity Perseus. I'm not sure how legit that seller is tho, but he does list it as Takara so you'd get your money back if it was fake. Oftentimes you can get it for around 20usd.)

Flash Sagittario (Good wheel, but if you had a bigger budget; you should get the BBG-25 set since you get Wyvang as well as many other top tier parts (6 whole wheels!). Flash is hard to use compared to Wyvang due to its thin contact point, which is situationally useful. Buying two of this set pretty much gives you most of the metal wheels needed to play MFB/ZRG competitively as well has a Wyvang/Wyvang synchrome. You can pick up a lot of necessary rubber tips with the Big Bang Pegasis remodel kit).

Death Quetzalcoatl (RDF and Death should cover you for most other things. Duo is impossible to get at a reasonable price currently.)

Beat Lynx (I wouldn't get this one since most of the parts are technically outclassed. TH170 is situationally good and technically better to have if you already have the other stuff first).

It’s up to you if you want Burst though, it’s more current and developing with every release. It’ll be easier to play Burst than MFB.

Okay, this definitely helps me a lot, so thank you Grin.

But I'm still wondering about one thing, and that is: where can I get 85 or 90 tracks? I lost my only 85 a while back, so I'd really appreciate it if you or somebody else could help me out...

A bit more expensive than I remember, but the Super Deck Set is a great way to get the 85, 90, 100 spin tracks as well as a lot of good parts for both standard and limited formats (except Libra metal wheel, since it's banned from Limited). If you're looking just for the 85 you can get an omega dragonis, but this metal wheel is also banned from limited format and pretty much useless in Standard. 85/90 range of height is a pretty limited height that's good for only a few niche combos in Standard, but very useful in Limited.

If you are able to purchase all of the above then I'd recommend a Dark Knight Dragooon as well, which is crucial in Standard.

what exactly are the best chrome wheels out of the synchrome set? I mainly remember the wheels from pre-ZG and BBG/Cho-Z, so I'm a bit rusty when it comes to the ZG meta

Of the BBG-25 Set – Wyvang (best Zero-G attack wheel, better overall matchups), Balro (second best ZRG attack wheel, slightly better at matchups that Wyvang has a hard time beating and slightly better for upper smash/attack), Revizer and Killerken (tied for best ZRG defense wheels, Revizer has better overall pure defense, but worse stamina and Killerken has slightly worse defense, but better stamina. When you synchrome the two you get a very nice setup).
Then the meh: Goreim (meh), Orojya (meh). Both of these can be okay fillers and both have some interesting properties that can potentially make some good combos (possible untapped potential?).

alright...I've got pending orders on ebay for the ZRG set and the Gravity perseus you recommended as of now, and I'm hoping to look at some of your other recommendations again later on!

Again, thank you for the help Grin.

No problem! If possible definitely get the Big Bang Pegasis remodel parts on your next purchase. The three rubber tips in that set and the two products you’ve bought will give you all you need for a starter kit for competitive Standard MFB!

I was wondering if this seller was authentic. I saw that the price isn't too low to be immediately suspicious, and this seller does seem to offer japanese goods by bandai as well as some cosmetics, but is it really a legitimate offer?

Just basing it off the reviews of the seller and the item listing, it seems like they sell authentic items.
You can always file a report if you don't end up getting the item listed.

As Junction said, the item listing includes the name TAKARA TOMY, so it's more likely than not authentic (as otherwise the seller would be in trouble).

As for the purchase itself, it's one of the best purchases for the Limited Format of MFB, with some parts even usable in Standard. IIRC:
-Pegasis: Has use in Attack combos, mostly at 145 height or higher.
-Burn: A good Stamina metal wheel
-Libra: (unfortunately it's not legal anymore) When it was legal, it was kick-carp for Defense.
-85: low-track attack/defense/stamina customs (i.e those using tracks up to 105 height) are pretty good there but be careful of 230/TH170 if you use them
-90: Ditto
-100: Ditto
-RF: a must-have for attack beys no matter the MFB format (except for Zero-G stadiums)
-D: Top-tier Stamina bottom for TH170/230-height tracks in Standard/Limited
-WD: Top-tier Stamina bottom for 85-145 height tracks.

These are if memory serves me correctly though.
I found some deals for the bbg-24 attack & balance set, but was unsure of what to make of this deal:

https://www.ebay.com/itm/Beyblades-BBG-2...SwtaRa7ZND

should I go with another deal such as this (https://www.ebay.com/itm/Beyblade-BBG-24....l4275.c10) instead or does the former seem safe?

Btw, what is the best way to get EWD? My current copy is worn out around the edges near the tip of the tip, so I'm looking for a mint one that won't accelerate
another dumb question...

should I prioritize the BBG-24 Attack Set

https://www.ebay.com/itm/Beyblades-BBG-2...SwAfpauFRR

or the super deck set?

https://www.ebay.com/itm/TAKARA-TOMY-BEY...0005.m1851

I'm debating between SA165 + Girago, Gargoyle, etc, and RF & MF-H for a combo I've been looking to make for a while, so its somewhat tough figuring out which to go for, though I'm leaning towards the Synchrome set...

Is it real? It does have the TT logo.

The most trusted seller (pvccard.expert) has listed it here.

I haven’t bought from Preston-au before, so I wouldn’t know if they sell authentic TT Beyblades.

I think it really depends on the priorities you have.
The BBG-24 will give you STD and ZRG capable parts, the deck set will give you LTD.

I think the synchrome set will definitely give you more options since it technically is a lot more pieces overall and more variety in combos you can build. The parts in the super deck set are pretty common and can be had through random used lots on ebay (with varying levels of condition and patience). Libra is banned in LTD and if you wanted pegasis, it can be had pretty cheap alone for just the metal wheel.

Kinda forgetting a few my guy, Girago is great for balance more so on the defense side, Genbull is probably best for stamina and my personal go to. Pair a Revizer or Killerken on the bottom of a Genbull for a pretty nasty setup. Balro^2 is really good for a OHKO (one hit KO) variant. Juncction was correct in saying that Wyvang has a better overall matchup with the rest of the meta though. However I wouldn't really say Orojya is good, really at all sadly. Goreim has seen use on Genbull as a stamina combo, I believe Kaboom!!! used this at a point in time.

EDIT: I'd get the BBG-24, you get Girago (yayyyyy!), Balro, and a siiiiiiiiiiick SA165 which is one of my favorite tracks, fun fact.
This is for Metal Fusion/MFB.
Hi, I'm trying to build my Metal Fusion collection and I'm wondering which of these two Beyblades I should get first:
Burn Fireblaze or Ray Striker?

Sorry for double posting but also which eBay seller is better:
SuperMonskey http://stores.ebay.ca/SuperMonskey/Beybl...34.c0.m322
Beybladewholesaler

I would say burn fireblaze.
However for that price you can get beyblades such as Variares if they interest you more.

Hello! I'm trying to decide between these three burst beys from a competitive standpoint:

Emperor Forneus
Twin Nemesis

I'm getting twin nemesis mainly for the layer, and emperor forneus for a perfect balance 0. I already have sieg xcalibur, legend spriggan, and nightmare longinus for attack, and Alter Chronos for defense.
Is Twin Nemesis really that potent in upper attack, and will it ko stuff better than legend?
Or is Emperor Forneus good enough to OS other layers like gK, or absolutely better than aC?
I don't know what to buy, faifar,or legend spryzen???
