The solomon chip is 5.61 even tho it has a metal it still manages to have a hard lock

A bit of an old post, but I just got mine yesterday (Zenmarket is freakishly slow right now) and my Solomon weighs a whopping 6.15 grams. If you thought 5.61 grams was heavy then you'll hate mine, especially if I manage on getting a metal chip core around here. Even then Lucifer now exists, so it's not like it's the only metal clad chip anymore. Either way it's not a severe power issue, as a couple extra grams isn't going to make or break things when we're hanging around the 65-70 gram mark for Sparking.
Honestly I find that this whole layer just looks tacky IRL, and actually looks a lot better when photographed. I do wish the rubber was more like the Gold Turbo rubber where it was translucent, instead of this odd opaque buttery yellow color. Chip is beautiful though, but is that worth this much?
The 1D from this does make a decent substitute for the First Uranus 1D though, as they're painted about the same and the only difference is the plastic color. From a top view there's really no telling the difference.
Still, aside from a spare Brave ring this really does feel like spending a ton of money (or getting really lucky) just for a chip. Makes me glad I got mine relatively cheaply, especially compared to what g2_ was claiming.
