It's backed by one of the most powerful toy companies in the United States.
It had lots of success previously.

really : /

The last metal beyblades died pretty quickly.
And it's got a Saturday morning cartoon. They don't do as much as they used too.
And all the stadiums are horribly imbalanced [so kids can't even really use more than half of the blades from the show if they want to win].
I can see, for most kids, these getting old fast, unfortunately [as a possibility, mind you].

HMS died in the US because it was put on hiatus in Japan. Second, if you think 'saturday morning cartoons' don't do as much as they used to, can you explain why Bakugan has done as well as it has? And as for the stadiums... Well honestly Hasbro has never made a terribly balanced stadium in recent memory. I remember having one that was almost entirely flat, with a little plateau in the center so they don't stay there...

Beyblade production as a whole was suspended because it was less popular mostly everywhere.

Also, this discussion should be moved to the Beyblade Random Thoughts topic.

I'll not post on this subject after this, but: 1] None of the HMS beyblades sold at my local stores, 2] Bakugan has trading card games and is on a good deal during the week, and 3] the old plastic stadiums were reasonably good with ditches and some were even bowls. The two I have are quite good, for plastics at least.
HMS died because it was released at the time when beyblade was dying down, and people didn't see it like they do now, there was absolutely no gap inbetween plastics and HMS, and the craze was ending.

I have only noticed recently that I found the Clear Wheel quite good.
Tornado looks good for Smash Attack if combined with a 90/85.

The Metal Wheel does not even look symmetrical ... Hopefully it is a visual illusion ...

Does to me. They even have a pentagon inside the wheel to show it. Doesn't look very promising as far as performance goes but I love the look of the sides and how it seems to have teeth jutting upward.

Is...is that a tornado ridge in the turntable?
No wonder it was moving so fast...
I thought that it was just the glare in the first video released.
Hm... I'm definitely interested in Tornado Herculeo now. I wonder how long it'll take for it to show up on YJA...

Anyways, thanks Kai-V.

There are videos of RF and R2F in the Tornado stadium in Kai-V's most recent link, IIRC.
Heracleo weighs 2.8 grams; Tornado, 32.9.

Thanks for the update Kai-V!

Wow, that is pretty heavy compared to most of the other Metal Wheels...
It would definitely be nice if the weight is focused on the outer of the Wheel.

Anyway, thanks for the update Kai-V!
Sorry for the necro...

Also gives a pretty good view of Tornado.

EDIT: The slopes in the stadium don't seem that steep either...
lol ha ha ha this arena will suck
The first time I saw the Stadium, I said to myself, "I wonder how Storm Capricorne will do on this stadium..."
LOL it does look pretty awesome; that of how a bey with an RF will move. ^^ Looks fun to play with.
