The last metal beyblades died pretty quickly.
And it's got a Saturday morning cartoon. They don't do as much as they used too.
And all the stadiums are horribly imbalanced [so kids can't even really use more than half of the blades from the show if they want to win].
I can see, for most kids, these getting old fast, unfortunately [as a possibility, mind you].

I remember having one that was almost entirely flat, with a little plateau in the center so they don't stay there...

If you are looking for an ultimate Beyblade, this is it. I found it rather interesting to note that it can withstand attackers, kill smashers and outspin Stamina types.

RS is trash and should hopefully be outclassed soon.

Does to me. They even have a pentagon inside the wheel to show it. Doesn't look very promising as far as performance goes but I love the look of the sides and how it seems to have teeth jutting upward.
