You don't have to, there are two holes above the track for the metal balls and will be covered after screwing the wheel and face in it.

... What if only two balls are supposed to fit there ... I did not see anything about adding more balls in the Coro Coro scans. Having more would cause their 'centrifugal play' to be totally ignored, and I think this is what they want to put forth ...

If you are looking for an ultimate Beyblade, this is it. I found it rather interesting to note that it can withstand attackers, kill smashers and outspin Stamina types.
