If it’s the same rubber as Xtreme though, then I’d probably have to agree with you then.

Agreed, honestly they should've just included X' since it's such a rare yet useful part, instead of throwing in these metal cap drivers that will probably never be used Uncertain

This is definitely a good point. Being a metal driver is definitely a downgrade since it wears down teeth, but if this had been Xtreme’ instead of metal Xtreme, I would have loved this driver just for how great it is for attack as well as being an awesome throwback recolor.
the metal drivers damage layers because they have stronger springs than dash + the metal cap against plastic right?
i had read somewhere keeping storing your beys complete (ie not parted out, not burst) it could potentially weaken the driver's spring....not sure if true or not. i wonder if you could weaken the spring over time by keeping it depressed, so it wont damage layers as badly. you just have to "awaken" the spring lol

Comes with Astral Spriggan Over Quatro with the 0 armor, Cyclone, Belial, a blue 2 armor, a golden Blitz disc with blue wings, Nexus, Wave', Metal Xtreme and Metal Survive.  The S gear for Belial has 2 modes, one free spin defense, the other fixed attack.  The Quatro driver has 4 modes (one for each type), and the Astral blade has rubber and metal (metal is under the big yellow sticker in right spin).  Overall it's just okay for a Customize Set since Metal Xtreme and Metal Survive were definitely not good driver choices.  Still, Spriggan is cool with all new parts, and I really like the look of the Blitz disc and the colored 2 armor.

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH, that's hot. My thoughts:

Astral Spriggan Over Quatro-0: Awesome Bey, awesome parts, everything about this Bey is awesome!

The other parts: Cyclone Belial is pretty neat looking, reminds me of a Requiem recolor, Nexus is meh, Blitz is nice, Wave' is cool I guess. (what's Wave's gimmick again? I can't remember) Metal Survive is stupid, but man, Metal Xtreme is amazing! We now have a tighter version of Xtreme! I can see this being used on some pretty good combos. Also, the color on that Metal Xtreme is nostalgia. (please don't hate me because I like the Metal Lock Drivers)

The S Gear: Looks pretty cool, the gimmick reminds me of 2B, probably my favorite Gear yet.
Storm: Clockwise
Legend/ Requiem: Counterclockwise
Turbo: Clockwise
Lord: Counterclockwise
World: Clockwise
Astral: Counterclockwise

That doesn't make sense. All Spriggans after Storm were Dual-Spin.

If you know it's off topic to the thread then don't post it in that thread, easy to do eh? And ive seen a translation by someone who actually knows japanese, not google translate. No mention of a name.

Having to say anyway for the hundredth time, ignoring spriggan this set is just fine to me. Spriggan is great, cyclone belial is solid, wave' and the disks are solid, the 2 metal cap drivers can go burn. I also find it neat that they put in a Nexus to use the S Gear on for anyone who doesn't have one yet.

They could be referring to which spin direction was better but then legend was arguably better on clockwise.

I’m saying that the art on each Spryzen is dominant for one rotation in one season, but then the next season it’s the other. Storm got lucky because Legend and Requiem made the pattern consistent. Remember Turbo and World were dominant in clockwise while Legend, Requiem, Lord, and Astral are dominant in counterclockwise

*Sudden understanding* Okay, gotcha.
Part info for Astral Spriggan:
Spriggan: Spriggan motif, a giant that protects treasure. A DB core that rotates both left and right so that the direction of rotation can be switched using a dedicated tool.
Astral: Balance type left and right rotating blades that can absorb rotation with rubber parts when rotating counterclockwise and can make strong attacks with metal parts when rotating clockwise.
0: Metal armor parts that fix the layer. The weight with less bias raises the performance of the bay in a well-balanced manner.
Over: DB disk that supports low mode. A disc with a heavy and simple circular shape that dramatically improves attack, defense, and endurance.
Quatro: A super-balanced type driver that can switch between two types of metal shaft tips (stamina type / defense type) and two types of rubber shaft tips (attack type / balance type) according to the tactics.
S Gear: Evolution gear that evolves Belial. Add a blade to the Nx disc. When set face up, it changes to a fixed attack blade, and when set face down, it changes to a free-rotating blade!
It's really cool that there is metal or rubber depending on the different driver modes for Quatro.
The Quatro driver sounds genuinely interesting and potentially very versatile. While I'm not sure how useful the tips are individually, this is also the first time we see a metal and rubber tip together, from my memory (besides Venture with the add on), albeit not together based on the descriptions. Imagine if balance mode was a combination of the two? Like a Unite driver with a metal sharp. I am excited to see how this driver works, or even how it'll fit four tips in.

Looks like every legendary blader will get their own Power Launcher, including Astral Spriggan
From the S-Gears Description, its basically gonna turn Nexus into 2B.

Burst stopper is useless now anyway, since beyblade are very hard to burst now
Woah, that 0 Armor looks pretty clean, and Quatro is quite interesting too (please be the first good Driver we get on a Spriggan)
Already Pre Order Astral Spriggan Set from local store, very excited can't wait for September for it arrive.

Honestly I wasn't expecting much from this release as I'm not that invested into the spriggan line, but jeez can I say that this spriggan looks epic. I like that the db disc resembles 0 as it really makes it feel like an evolution whilst also making a sense of upgrade from old parts with new ones. The driver I'm really excited for, definitely something I would be interested in watching perform in the db stadium. I'm also happy about the shape of the blade versus the world ring that was pretty round. I'm a fan of the blitz disc. Although it's rather old at this point,it looks really nice and would go well with Cyclone Belial. I'm a bit disappointed with the metal lock drivers but eh. To be honest this feels like a real customize set. And the S gear isn't all that interesting but the concept seems neat and I like that the set includes nexus for anyone who doesn't already have it which enables them to use the S gear. Overall this release is looking pretty solid and for now I'll wait to see how spriggan performs.

I would have to disagree. Legend was more dominant in right spin. Its right spin burst attack was far more effective and not as prone to self bursting as its left spin smash attack mode. Here's the wiki for reference: https://beyblade.fandom.com/wiki/Energy_...d_Spriggan

Furthermore, it can be argued there is really no dominant spin direction for any Spriggans after Legend, as changing the spin direction doesn't actually change the overall shape of the layer. They were all best suited for opposite spin matchups, not for a particular spin direction.

The dominant side is usually the direction the heads were facing on the bey to me and usually that’s the rotation that is advertised

oh ok, I thought you meant which direction was more dominant competitively.
