Also as for what you said about translucent plastic I kind of have to disagree, maybe it just me but I always see the solid colour plastic breaking and most of my breakages have involved the solid plastic (if we exclude drivers).
I really hope you're right about that, because I hope the actual product of the Hollow Ring is more reinforced than the render here.
As for what I've said about translucent plastic, I could be wrong myself as the breakages tend to vary. In my case with the D2 Layer, I own three of them and all of them have cracked on the translucent plastic side whilst two of the three D2 Layers I own had the solid coloured plastic remain intact for me.
The reason I bring this up is because Hollow's top left blade has the same triangular-shaped gap as D2's translucent shell on the top left as well, and it makes me worried that it will crack as well.

I was actually not aware of that piece of trivia about Killer Deathscyther, but I suppose it would be a good way to deal with Hollow. Present it as a cool Ring in the renders, then make it more durable in the final release. I feel like Hollow might be a bit concerning regarding part damage because it looks like the right side has a metal contact point (although the tip of the metal part shouldn't be much of a problem because it's preceded by some clear plastic) and the left side looks fairly aggressive.
Wait, are there metal contact points on Hollow? Because I don't really see it, unless the pearl gun metal colour on the Ring is supposed to be metal but I thought it was there just to give Hollow a Deathscyther look to it (half black, half translucent).
Eh, I will think of something to put here...
... later ;)
