are we 100% sure this spriggan is B-172?

Considering this picture is definitely Spriggan, there’s no way that we have pictures of the Random booster this early. This is pretty much confirmed to be Spriggan.

Ok so this was extremely unexpected and it’s very surprising to see that they are breaking the anime patterns. Yet it’s still a booster... so again, either it’s not dual spin or takara tomy is being difficult and not providing us with a dual launcher. Anyways here’s something he thing:if Shu isn’t participating in the festival than why though? It’s really weird that Achilles is appearing first- yet it won’t be released for weeks.

Nothing says this is a booster. In fact, when we got the listing leaks it was unknown what this would be. Likely this is a deluxe starter with a sparking LR launcher.

Shu appearing there was different, that was just for story. No episode spoiler that revealed he'd battle yet. However, Aiga is clearly going to show off Achilles soon unlike Spriggan in the anime. Not saying this ain't Spriggan, just saying that it isn't confirmed yet I believe.

I have seen the picture and I am not denying it is Spriggan. Read what I said again, I was talking. I was expressing my confusion on why it’s Spriggan since Achilles is going to appear first.

Yeah as HakaishinLDrago said, ep 23 which airs soon enough in late August will showcase the new Achilles (which presumably releases in October). This is all very very strange.

Looks like the Ring flips (similar to Master Diabolos). I've also noticed that a piece of the axe resembles Spriggan Requiem .Looks like this side of the layer is based off of Legend Spriggan. I'm going to take a guess that the other side will resemble Spriggan Requiem with a piece of Legend Spriggans axe (the left side of the axe that we can see in the leaked picture) on one side of the axe. (or just any part , as there might not be an axe on the other side of the ring)

Well this isn’t some marginally small gap. This appearance gap is a matter spanning over a month which is a pretty big deal for burst these days. On top of that, we are getting Spriggan early, which makes it seem like it won’t appear in the anime for just as long.

To be fair, they could've held off on the Legends Festival for a couple more weeks since this is two months early, but maybe they have a plan for what comes after the festival.

Yeah that’s true. It’s just really odd that Spriggan is apparently getting released first while Achilles is second but the anime appearances are going to be alternated. Perhaps it’s something on takara tomy’s side

Edit: Here’s my take on why this happened. In order for us to fully understand let’s say we track back a bit; So as we know, Spriggan has always been an extremely popular line and in s1-s2 it was released as a starter while in s3-4 it was released in a customize/triple booster set in order to “milk” it’s worth. My guess is that it was indeed originally planned to be in the rbv but tt decided to switch it with Achilles based on the fact that they sell more Spriggan products by making Spriggan easier to obtain/afford and they do that by releasing it as a starter or booster rather than in some expensive set or rbv that would for the most part, require a lot of money in order to acquire the prize bey with the better sales of s1-2 Spriggan products proving that it is the superior tactic. This effectively means they are making more money selling Spriggan as a booster/starter as opposed to an expensive customize set bey because that enables a larger crowd of people to indulge in buying this. It would make sense as well since the primary consumers of beyblade are obviously younger children and young children don’t exactly have wayyy too much money to blow and nor do their parents on such expensive toys.
