They still could've reused Loop if they really wanted. Still, Dimesion' is probably the choice for them here.

Maybe dimension metal could be the driver?
The new Achilles will probably have new gimmicks drivers and I hope chassis 2B
I wouldn't be surprised if the took the convert gimmick from Union and put it on 2B. And im calling it now(Mega Achilles)

1) That gimmick would be kind of hard to replicate on a Chassis, so it might just be a Chassis that aligns well with Achilles's Ring if it's a Double Chassis. 2) The Ring can't be called Mega because Mirage already takes the spot for M.

It doesn't matter if another ring starts with M. Bigbang Gensis and Bushin Ashura started with B. Helios and Hyperion started with H. So why can't Mega and Mirage start with M?

Big Bang Genesis was an entire layer, and Helio and Hyperion are abbreviated Hl and Hy respectively, while Mirage is abbreviated M and Mega would be too. No one would be able to tell the difference between the two and that’s why TT wouldn’t do it.

Mirage is abbreviated Mi, and Mega is abbreviated Me. Whats so complicated?

Actually TT has their own abbreviation for parts. Mirage is officially abbreviated M. That’s how all rings are abbreviated. With the first letter of the name of the ring. Mega would not work for the name.

Mirage is abbreviated M, not Mi, like Brave is abbreviated B. TT makes the abbreviations, you can't just change them to fit your guess on what the new Achilles' name is.

I didn't change it to fit my guess. I didn't even know that Mirage was abbreviated M, I though it was Mi. Never denied that TT didn't make them, I just didn't know. That still doesn't mean that the layer can't be named Mega. They could just abbreviated different like Me.

Possibly, but they haven't done that to any Ring, this would be the first to do so.

Because of the way abbreviations work Bigbang γenesis is abbreviated Bγ and has no Layer Weight at the end of the combo. There is no Chip abbreviated as "γ" to confuse Bushin and Bigbang, much less one that doesn't need a Weight. Hyperion and Helios are abbreviated as Hy and Hl respectively, since all Sparking Chips aside from Σolomon have been abbreviated with two letters so far. Unless you're proposing that TT will just randomly start making Rings with two-lettered abbreviations when they still have several unused letters to work with, it would be impossible to tell whether someone is referring to something like Mirage Diabolos Xtend+ 2S (MDb.Xt+ 2S) or Mega Diabolos Xtend+ 2S (MDb.Xt+ 2S) when abbreviated.
This argument is sorta dumb. Can we please reel it in a little?
I'd rather focus towards what the ring might be doing rather than its name, especially when its name is way up in the air with too many possibilities to count. If this is really an Achilles bey, do you think they'd make another Union Swords-like gimmick for the base?

Tbh if they can make a chassis like 2D, then I think a chassis with the convert gimmick should be fairly simple. It could have a movable outer ring that shifts the weight around from the main part of the chassis
@"GT_fan" sure, it sounds simple enough, but how would you lock it into place without making it feel clunky? Would you have to make people remove the Ring, pull a part of the Chassis upwards, rotate it 180 degrees, push it back down, and then put the Ring back on? Also, 2D isn't exactly their most complicated gimmick. They just sandwiched a piece of rubberry plastic into a Chassis. Anyway, back on track to what MagikHorse suggested, the gimmick for the Ring could be a refined version of Union's gimmick. The swords could be more exposed than the Union Swords were and maybe the main part of the Ring could have metal to put the Speed Mode in the same weight class as some of the newer Rings.

I mean, they did it with Alter Chronos before. Seems rather plausible to me.

For Fafnir, Valkyrie, and Helios, you have to remove the ring and flip the Chassis 180 degrees, shifting the weight on a convert Chassis is just one extra step so I still dont think it'll be too complicated. Also I think a gimmick like beat lynx for the "union swords" would be cool since you wouldn't necessarily have to worry about the ring being too light and it still has a unique gimmick that makes since
This is my guess on the gimmick i think that this Achilles will have a a two parted ring that can be changed into a defense and attack mode the attack mode probably be more sharper and the defense mode probably be rounder
Big credits and thanks to Zankye for the Achilles' silhouette information. What are your thoughts guys about Achilles' silhouette?
Honestly, if this is really an Achilles silhouette, it sort of looks like it'll imitate Z Achilles moreso than Union. I guess this is because these Sparking rings are rather thin compared to GT's bases?
Really though it gives me Spriggan vibes more, though that could just be the angle.

Personally I think it might actually be the second sparking bey after Valkyrie to not retain its gimmick because while it does have those two swords it seems pretty round so maybe the ring actually does have some beat lynx mode change type of thing going on here.
