So I guess this pretty much confirms that Gwyn and Genesis are indeed the "last boss" of GT and whilst that isn't surprising, that just enforces that Amane definitely won't be getting an Ashura evolution or come out on top, despite getting his bey destroyed in the manga, leaving him to be another lame, weak Rantaro-esque character...
*sighs*. That seriously disappoints me, but unsurprising since TT
loves to make test-dummy characters with the most minimal purpose be one of the main characters, it's one of the reasons I dislike Ranjiro.
Whatever, I wasn't expecting much anyway. As for Big Bang Genesis, it uses Hy again but Hy is pretty cool to have and will hopefully be easier to access so no complaints here. Though I only question why TT has this weird habit where each system of Burst can only be limited to having only
three new Defense-Type Driver?
- Like the Single Layer's had Defense, Massive and Needle.
- The Dual Layer System had Press, Orbit and Bite.
- The God Layer System had Loop, Atomic and Guard.
- The Cho-Z Layer System had Yard, Friction and Quest.
- The GT Layer System had Keep, Orbit Metal and Hybrid.
I dunno why I'm pointing this out, I just thought it was quite funny that it's always limited to three. Maybe they don't want too many defensive gimmicks, which is fine.
Unfortunately, I do not have nice things to say about Big Bang Genesis' aesthetics. I like the more saw-blade looking Layer but the colour-scheme just looks bad. Look, I have nothing against the colour scheme, purple and red (I mean Right Artemis and Tact Longinus were red and purple and they looked cool) but for some reason, it just doesn't look nice here because that lighter purple with the red contrasts far too much. I also don't like that stupid red ring that's just placed on top of it, it just sticks out like a sore thumb. It doesn't look like it's fused on the Layer, it just looks like they just simply glued a Frame on a Layer (and no, I know it's not a frame, before someone tries to "correct" me).
