Definantly getting that lol and here i was thinking pokemon was dead to me.
Pokémon Soul Silver/Heart Gold
Whoa.
I have to buy that. It'll be awesome if you can choose which Pokémon follows you.

Do you think they will add the new pokemon in it ? (Sinnoh Hoen) I really hope they don't !
wow! it looks awesome. i cant wait.... i always liked pikachu following me in yellow

There were areas in Diamond\Pearl\Platnium where you can have Pokémon follow you. D\P\P are very similar to the Johto games, helps that D\P\P take place at the same time as G\S\C.
Kanto in Silver & Gold was missing a lot of things. IIRC it was missing Safari Zone, and a bunch of other things. And yeah, once you have atleast one Pokémon at Level 50+ all of Kanto is pretty much a breeze too.
It would be cool if GameFreak included things in Soul Silver, and Heart Gold that they originally intended to put in Silver and Gold but didn't because of various reasons. This includes the skateboard.

Ugh, D/P graphics, though they have been improved. Do those trees look out of perspective to anyone else?
Anyway, this looks pretty nice otherwise. My starter follows me
I will probably get Soul Silver, wish they had crystal, though, because that's my favorite one.

I'm not crazy then XD My brother didn't see it when I showed them to him. I hope they fix it. =/
The GSC rival was awesome
The GSC rival was awesome

Actually, he wasn't bad. He was an antihero. His goal was to destroy Team Rocket if I recall correctly. Or he wanted to find Giovanni for a reason that I will not spoil.
Yeah so my "no pokemon games ever again rule" will be broken. Oh well.
Hope we get to fight Ash again in that mountain, only battle I've ever found challenging.
I was so pleased when I found Red because none of my friends had and it was a complete suprise to us all.
And I never really knew if the GSC rival was a girl or a boy until like a year ago. I never knew what to call him either.

I love you for pointing this out. Idiots out there never believe me when I say this to them. They just laugh. ._.
I thought "gary" was pretty cool actually, the fact that he was annoying just comes from the anime imo. As "rival #1" he was good. =D
Your only Ash in Pokemon Yellow aren't you ? Who is the guy in Pokemon G/S/C ?

Pokémon Yellow was made to be more similar to the anime for people. "ASH" was a name available from the pre-set selections in Pokémon red, and I believe they left it in for yellow too, yes.
In GSC you're just a regular trainer. You play as yourself, whoever you want to be...
Quote:that's because red and ash may as well be the same person in the context of the game
If it was ash, would they not have simply called him ash? >.>
But they called him red, which is a different character. I don't see how they'd be the same...
im not sure about his name, but he is in some of the Pokemon Chronicals episodes. the Raikou ones if im not mistaken. Also your rival in it is Paul from D & P episodes, which is kinda strange.

This is one of the things that really allowed Pokemon to take off the way it did, I think. Kids really did feel like they were Pokemon trainers in their own adventure, rather than guiding another character.
omg, omg, totodile can follow me? must buy. i hope he dances
