Performance Tip - Keep

Keep (キープ, Kīpu) is a Performance Tip released by Takara Tomy as part of the Burst System as well as the Gatinko Layer System. It debuted in Japan with the release of the B-135 Booster Bushin Ashura Hurricane Keep Ten on March 16th, 2019.

Description:
Keep is a free-spinning rubber ball tip that only free spins horizontally, akin to a free-spin Bite.
The rubber has increased grip on the stadium, increasing its knock-out resistance.
As with all rubber drivers, it has extremely low stamina, due to the increased grip.

It's pattern is usually calm in the middle, but can turn more aggressive due to the rubber sometimes.
After time, the rubber will start to wear down, revealing a rubber flat akin to Xtreme, but free spin, which gives it about the same spin time but more
Life-After-Death.

It's increased grip makes it not recommended for layers with weak teeth, as it will increase burst risk.
And as with all rubber drivers, it is important to have more than one, as you will eventually have to replace your driver when it wears down, or use Keep'.

Overall:
Keep is a driver that has good knock-out resistance but is plagued by low stamina, it's Life-After-Death combined with the extra grip on the stadium makes it a good choice for Spin-Steal Combos, but for defense, it is outclassed by Atomic, Orbit, and Orbit Metal in stamina.

As such, Keep is not a must have but is instead a welcome addition to a blader's collection.

I don’t have keep but I think it’s a good defense driver.

I was not sure if it was trash or ok, so I agree with you if you say that.

I have it. Keep is totally useless. Virtually 0 stamina, bad attack, and half-decent burst resistance. Plus, there’s keep’, which is the only defense type dash driver.

I was judging it on keep', so i totally forgot about the increased burst risk.
Keep' is actually pretty useful if you use it right. A Burn Phoenix on Wheel Keep' actually made it to the top 3 in one of the NC tournaments in January. It's viability may be questionable, but it managed to outspin Tempest Zone' +Z combos. It's not bad at all.

Have you forgotten about quest? (Quest is the best in raw defense)
I know that Cho-Z Spriggan 00 keep/keep' is a good counter to Judgment and Zwei.
Keep isn't really the best driver because it wobbles a lot
It's not that good

But judgement and zwei are heavily outclassed. Keep’is pretty good, but simply because it’s a defense type dash driver.
